    摘要: A position detection system that does not require calibration measurement to be performed in advance and reduces the work required for detecting a position and so on is provided. The provided position detection system includes a device having a magnetic inductance coil; a drive coil that has a position-calculating frequency near a resonant frequency of the magnetic inductance coil and generates an alternating magnetic field which acts on the magnetic inductance coil; a plurality of magnetic-field sensors that is disposed outside the operating range of the device and detects an induced magnetic field generated by the magnetic inductance coil; amplitude-component detection section for detecting amplitude components whose phase is substantially orthogonal to the alternating magnetic field from the outputs of the magnetic sensors acquired by the plurality of magnetic sensors; and position analyzing section for calculating at least one of a position and an orientation of the device on the basis of the amplitude components.

The medical-device magnetic guiding position detecting system includes a medical device that is disposed in the body of a subject and that includes at least one magnet and a circuit including an internal coil, a first magnetic field generating unit for generating a first magnetic field in the operating area of the medical device, position detecting means for detecting an induction magnetic field induced in the internal coil due to the first magnetic field, and at least one pair of opposing coils for generating a second magnetic field that acts on the at least one magnet. The opposing coils forming each of the at least one pair are independently driven.

    摘要: The position or the direction of a first marker which produces an alternating magnetic field by means of an external power supply is detected precisely even if the first marker coexists with a second marker which includes a resonance circuit having a resonance frequency the same as or close to the frequency of the alternating magnetic field. There is provided a position detection system including a first marker that produces a first alternating magnetic field having a single set of first position-calculating frequencies that are a predetermined frequency away from each other; a second marker provided with a magnetic induction coil having as a resonance frequency a substantially central frequency interposed between the single set of first position-calculating frequencies; a magnetic-field detection section that is disposed outside the working region and that detects a magnetic field at the first position-calculating frequencies; an extracting section that extracts from the detected magnetic field the sum of the intensities of a single set of first detection-magnetic-field components having the single set of first position-calculating frequencies; and a position/direction analyzing section that calculates the position or the direction of the first marker based on the extracted sum.

    摘要: A capsule guiding system includes a magnetic guiding unit, a displaying unit, an operation unit, and a control unit. The magnetic guiding unit guides, using magnetic force, a capsule-shaped medical apparatus introduced inside a subject. The displaying unit displays an image of the subject and an image of the capsule-shaped medical apparatus as an overlapped image, and changes relative position and relative direction between the two images as the capsule-shaped medical apparatus is guided by the magnetic guiding unit. The operation unit inputs coordinate information which specifies movement direction of the capsule-shaped medical apparatus. The control unit adjusts coordinate system of the displaying unit and coordinate system of the operation unit to be consistent with each other, transforms the coordinate information input from the operation unit into the coordinate system of the magnetic guiding unit, and controls the guiding of the capsule-shaped medical apparatus based on the transformed coordinate information.
