In some embodiments, an apparatus is configured to receive an information from a structured database associated with a customer's financial institution account, wherein the information includes a previous product purchase; categorize the customer based on the information received; and provide a recommendation to the customer based on categorization of the customer, wherein the recommendation is a type of financial institution bank card.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to apparatus, methods, and computer program products for using e-receipts for micro loyalty targeting. The apparatus, methods, and computer program products comprise: a memory; a processor; and a module stored in memory, executable by a processor, and configured to: receive information associated with a purchase of an item, wherein the item includes an item category; increment a counter associated with the item category; determine, in response to incrementing the counter associated with the item category, if the counter equals or exceeds a predetermined threshold value; and transmit, in response to determining the counter equals or exceeds a predetermined threshold value, a message to a second apparatus.
Abstract:
Aspects herein describe at least a new method, system, and computer readable storage media for facilitating bill payment by way of using an image of a check. A computing system may transmit a bill payment request to a wireless computing device associated with an account holder of a bill payment account. The computing system may determine whether an account holder of the bill payment account holds a funding account held at the first organization, and as a result, may transmit a request to the wireless computing device for an image of a check associated with a second organization when the account holder of the bill payment account does not hold a funding account at the first organization. Bill payment may be made by way of an ACH transaction using a routing number and an account number obtained from the image of the check.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for determining and providing an offer to a customer based at least in part on product level data associated with a transaction. The system, method, and computer program product are configured to receive unstructured data from a customer account, wherein the unstructured data comprises product level data for a transaction; convert the unstructured data into structured data; determine a transaction at a financial institution corresponding to the structured data; determine an offer for a customer based on the product level data and the transaction; and provide the offer to the customer. Typically, product level data related to transactions is not available to financial institution. This disclosure describes a system and method for identifying and using product level data.
Abstract:
Apparatus, methods, and computer program products are provided for that automatically identify transactions and/or items in a transaction that are associated with a group of individuals, such as a family, co-workers, a special interest group, a demographic group a social network group or the like.
