Abstract: A liquid crystal antenna, a manufacturing method and a driving method thereof, and a communication device are disclosed. The liquid crystal antenna includes a first substrate and a second substrate provided opposite to each other, a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of microstrip patch antenna structures and a ground electrode. The liquid crystal layer and the plurality of microstrip patch antenna structures are located between the first substrate and the second substrate; the ground electrode is located on a side of the first substrate away from the liquid crystal layer. Each of the plurality of microstrip patch antenna structures is configured to receive a voltage signal that controls deflection of liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer and to receive or transmit a microwave signal.

The amplifying circuit includes: a first rectifying circuit, configured to output a first direct current signal according to a first alternating current signal; a second rectifying circuit, configured to output a second direct current signal according to a second alternating current signal; a differential amplifying circuit, configured to receive the first direct current signal and the second direct current signal, amplify a difference between the first direct current signal and the second direct current signal, and output an amplified difference between the first direction current signal and the second direct current, the first direct current signal and the second direct current signal have directions opposite to each other.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a display panel and a driving method thereof. The display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate which are aligned and assembled into a cell, wherein the first substrate includes a first base body, a total internal reflection structure and a first electrode are provided at a side of the first base body facing to the second substrate, and the second substrate includes a second base body and a second electrode which is provided at a side of the second base body facing to the first substrate. The display panel further includes cholesteric liquid crystal provided between the first and second substrates, charged light-absorbing particles are mixed in the cholesteric liquid crystal, and a refractive index of the cholesteric liquid crystal is smaller than each of refractive indexes of the total internal reflection structure and the light-absorbing particles.
