Abstract: A display compensation method is applied to a shutter 3D display device including a display panel and a backlight module, wherein the backlight module includes a first light source and a second light source, the display panel includes a plurality of first display regions, the backlight module includes a plurality of first backlight regions corresponding to the plurality of first display regions respectively; the display compensation method includes: turning on the first light source of the first backlight region; acquiring the brightness of the backlight module under a condition that the first light source is turned on; determining whether the brightness is within a preset brightness range; turning on the second light source of the first backlight region if the brightness is within the preset brightness range, so as to perform a display brightness compensation for a displaying picture.
