Abstract: According to an aspect, an inflatable penile prosthesis includes a fluid reservoir configured to hold fluid, an inflatable member, and a pump assembly configured to transfer the fluid between the fluid reservoir and the inflatable member. The pump assembly includes a valve body, a pump bulb, and a deflation mode actuator. The valve body includes a bi-directional valve configured to move from an inflation position to a deflation position in response to an activation of the deflation mode actuator. The bi-directional valve in the inflation position is configured to open a fluid passageway in the valve body to transfer fluid from the pump bulb to the inflatable member. The bi-directional valve in the deflation position is configured to open a fluid passageway in the valve body to transfer fluid from the inflatable member to the fluid reservoir that bypasses the pump bulb.

Abstract: According to an aspect, an inflatable penile prosthesis includes a reservoir configured to hold fluid, an inflatable member, and a pump assembly configured to facilitate a transfer of a fluid from the reservoir to the inflatable member. The pump assembly includes a pump bulb, and a valve body defining a fluid passageway. The valve body includes a refill valve disposed in the fluid passageway. The refill valve includes a valve member. In response to the pump bulb being compressed, the valve member moves within the fluid passageway in a first direction to a closed position in which the valve member blocks the fluid from being transferred around the refill valve. In response to the pump bulb being uncompressed, the valve member moves within the fluid passageway in a second direction to an open position in which the valve member allows the fluid to transfer around the refill valve.

Abstract: A penile construction template may include an adhesive film configured for adhesion to donor skin. The penile construction template may include a first section defined on the adhesive film to identify an external phallus skin flap of the donor skin to be extracted while the adhesive film is adhered to the donor skin, and a second section defined on the adhesive film to identify a de-epithelialized skin flap of the donor skin to be extracted while the adhesive film is adhered to the donor skin. An implantable device for urethra construction may include a tubular scaffold configured to be coupled to a natal urethra of a patient, the tubular scaffold being seeded with urethral cells of the patient for growth of a urethral segment on the tubular scaffold therefrom while disposed within a body of the patient.
