The interface is capable of receiving a second signal in synchronization with the signal and the application is configured to perform receive diversity processing using the signal and the second signal. Further, is included a mobile device that includes the antenna, the interface, and a second application where the second application is configured to perform multiple input multiple output (MIMO) processing using the signal and the second signal. Increased bandwidth and processing gain is achieved for the received signal by the receive diversity processing and the MIMO processing.

    摘要: A system and method of re-distributing power output by a portable mobile communications device while operating in dual transfer mode (DTM) is disclosed. The device determines if more than one uplink slot is active and if DTM is active. If so, power can be separately regulated for packet switched and carrier switched uplink slots. The device determines whether the circuit switched slot is being used for a voice call that is not in a handsfree or speakerphone mode and evaluates factors associated with the current operating conditions. New power settings are calculated based on the mode for the active circuit switched slot and the factors associated with the current operating conditions of the device. The new power settings are then applied to the active uplink slots such that power is re-distributed on a per slot basis that is not necessarily divided equally among all active slots.

    摘要: A portable mobile communications device for controlling the destination of mobile TV programs broadcast by a mobile TV service provider includes a mobile TV device, a processor running a mobile TV redirect application communicable with the mobile TV service provider, and a user interface for controlling the mobile TV device and the mobile TV redirect application such that mobile TV broadcast programs can be simultaneously redirected to an external device in response to input received by the user interface and sent to the mobile TV service provider. The external device can include a home media server or a computer coupled to and communicable with the mobile TV service provider via the Internet.
