摘要： Disclosed herein are novel obovatol derivatives represented by Chemical Formula 1, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Having the ability to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce apoptosis in cancer cells, the derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are useful in the prevention and treatment of cancer and in the suppression of cancer metastasis. Also, a method for preparing the derivatives, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the derivatives as active ingredients are disclosed. wherein R1,R2 and R3 are as defined in the specification.
