Abstract: Described herein are whitening compositions comprising a peroxide source, and an adhesion system comprising a hydrophobic component comprising a silicone adhesive; and a dental surface adhesion enhancing agent, which are physically stable and effectively provide whitening. Methods of making and using these compositions are also described herein.
