    Abstract: A fiber optic splitter arrangement includes a housing defining a non-enterable interior; at least one optical power splitter disposed within the non-enterable interior; an input port carried by the housing; and a multi-fiber connection port carried by the housing. The input port and/or the multi-fiber connection port may be attached directly to the housing. Output fibers of more than one optical power splitter disposed within the non-enterable interior may be routed to the same multi-fiber connection port. Output fibers of a single optical power splitter may be routed to multiple multi-fiber connection ports.

    Abstract: A cable fixation device (10) includes a base (110), an upright (114) projecting from the base and including a fixation projection (116) having a reduced dimensional portion (118) for receiving a cable tie (124). Ribs (126) are provided for engaging the cable jacket or a wrap around the cable. The base (110) and the fixation projections (116) can be made from molded plastic. The fixation projections (116) can be staggered on the cable fixation device (10). The cable fixation device (10) can be mounted with a snap arrangement (38) to an enclosure (12) with one or more additional cable fixation devices (10).

    Abstract: A cable distribution system is provided wherein a feeder cable with one or more feeder fibers is received by a distribution terminal, device, or box. The feeder fibers are spliced to a feeder fan out device. Customers can directly connect to the feeder fan out device by patching between the feeder fan out device and a distribution fan out device that is spliced to a distribution cable. This connection creates a point-to-point connection. Alternatively, a splitter input can be connected to the feeder fan out device wherein the splitter splits the signal as desired into a plurality of outputs. The outputs of the splitters can be in the form of connectors or adapters. The connectors or adapters are then connected to the distribution fan out device, and customers can receive a split signal through the distribution cable that is spliced with the distribution fan out device.

    Abstract: A closure (100) is configured to hold one or more termination arrangements (120) at which one or more connectorized ends of optical cables can be received. The closure (100) provides axial pull-out protection for the connectorized ends (142) of the optical cables (140). In certain implementations, the closure (100) provides axial pull-out protection for the connectorized ends (142) of optical cables (140) arranged in multiple layers within the closure (100). In certain implementations, the closure (100) provides axial pull-out protection for standard optical connectors (e.g., standard SC connectors, standard LC connectors, standard LX.5 connectors, standard MPO connectors, etc.). The axial pull-out protection can be in the form of a cover (130). Cable bend protection (136) may also be provided by the cover.

Some connector systems can be configured in the field to be compatible with different styles of fiber optic adapters.     Abstract: A fiber distribution system (10) includes a fiber distribution hub (20, 300); at least one fiber distribution terminal (30, 100); and a cable (40) wrapped around a spool (110) of the fiber distribution terminal (30, 100). The fiber distribution terminal (30, 100) includes a spool (110) and a management tray (120) that rotate together. A second connectorized end (40b) of the cable (40) is held at a fiber optic adapter (125) on the tray (120). After dispensing the first connectorized end (40a) to the hub (20), an optical splitter (70, 130, 140) can be mounted to the tray (120). The splitter (26, 70, 130, 140, 306) has output adapters at which patch cords (50) can be inserted to connect subscribers to the system. The fiber distribution hub can use the same format of splitters (26, 70, 130, 140, 306). Other distributed splitter systems are provided with splicing and/or adding of splitters as needed.

The rear end wall (129) defines a fastener opening (125) aligned with an axis of rotation of the spool (120). A flange portion (124) is coupled to a front end (121) of the drum portion (122). The spool (120) can define a slot (170) having a radial portion (170A) that extends though the flange portion (124) and an axial portion (170B) that extends through the side wall (128) of the drum portion (122).
