    Abstract: A connector (20) for a coaxial cable (10). The cable comprises an outer conductor (11), an inner conductor (12) and an insulating medium (13) located between the outer and the inner conductors, wherein the connector comprises a connector front body (21) and a connector rear body (22) inserted therein; the connector front body comprises a hollow shell (30); the connector rear body comprises a flare ring (50), a slot finger and a lock nut (70) which are inserted into the shell, wherein the flare ring at one end thereof rests against a shoulder (37) in the shell, the slot finger is mounted on the flare ring, and the lock nut is mounted on the slot finger and engages the inner surface of the shell; the flare ring is provided with adjacent the first incline (54) and the first plane (55), and the slot finger is provided with adjacent the second incline (67) and the second plane (66), wherein the first incline is used for insertion between the outer conductor and the insulating medium of the coaxial cable, and the first incline and the first plane respectively cooperate with the second incline and the second plane, so as to simultaneously flare and crush the outer conductor of the coaxial cable. The cable connector can gain excellent third order intermodulation performance and high frequency transmission performance.

    Abstract: A method of induction soldering an inner conductor of a coaxial cable to an inner contact of a right angle coaxial connector includes: (a) providing a coaxial connector, the coaxial connector including an outer conductor body and an inner contact, the inner contact defining a mating axis, the inner contact further comprising a blind hole with an open end; (b) providing a coaxial cable, the coaxial cable including an inner conductor, a dielectric circumferentially surrounding the inner conductor, and an outer conductor circumferentially surrounding the dielectric; (c) inserting the coaxial cable into the coaxial connector such that an end of the inner conductor is positioned in the blind hole of the inner contact and perpendicular to the mating axis; and (d) heating the blind hole of the inner conductor to melt solder present in the blind hole to form a solder joint between the inner conductor and the inner contact.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to an optical fiber connector and cable assembly that includes an optical fiber cable and an optical fiber connector, wherein the optical fiber cable has an optical fiber and a cable sheath, and a free end of the optical fiber is provided with a ferrule, and the ferrule is associated with a ferrule spring. The optical fiber connector includes a connector body and a cover; a first fixing sleeve and a second fixing sleeve, between which the cable sheath is anchored; an insert mounted at a distal end of the first fixing sleeve, having a passage for receiving a proximal section of the ferrule and supporting the ferrule spring. In a direction facing a distal end of the connector body, the cover presses a first fixing sleeve, the first fixing sleeve presses the insert, the insert presses the ferrule spring, and the ferrule spring presses the ferrule. The disclosure also relates to an optical fiber cable connection system including two optical fiber connector and cable assemblies to be connected to each other. The optical fiber connector and cable assembly may have relatively simple structure, easy assembly and reliable operation.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an external device-to-external device connector for wireless communication devices, which is configured to electrically connect two spaced external devices together, and comprises two interface members and a coupling member. The inner conductor part and the insulation part of the coupling member are held together by the concave-convex fitting parts opposite to each other, and there is a first gap between the concave-convex fitting part of the inner conductor part and that of the insulation part, which allows the inner conductor part to have radial displacement relative to the insulation part; or, the outer conductor part and the insulating part of the coupling member are held together by the concave-convex fitting parts opposite to each other, and there is a second gap between the concave-convex fitting part of the outer conductor part and that of the insulating part, which allows radial displacement of the insulating part relative to the outer conductor part. The external device-to-external device connector can achieve satisfactory RL and PIM performance.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a coaxial connector and a method for producing an outer contact of the coaxial connector. The coaxial connector comprises a body, an inner contact, an outer contact, and a dielectric spacer. The body may be provided with a through hollow cavity, and the inner contact and the outer contact may be coaxially arranged in the hollow cavity of the body and may be spaced apart radially by the dielectric spacer. The outer contact may be in a shape of thin-wall cylinder and may comprise a plurality of spring fingers. The plurality of spring fingers may be spaced apart circumferentially by a plurality of slots. An end of each spring finger may be provided with a flange, and each flange may extend outwardly in a radial direction and comprises an arc portion and a flat portion. The outer contact with such a structure may provide a good interconnection quality when mating with a corresponding mating connector. The outer contact of the coaxial connector may be formed by stamping a tube, which, compared with prior art method, significantly increases the processing efficiency and reduces material and personnel costs.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cluster connector assembly, wherein the cluster connector assembly comprises: a plurality of connectors with cables; a front case configured to integrate the connectors together; a locking assembly which can axially locks the connectors in the front case independently of each other; and a rear case which can be connected to the front case to fix the locking assembly. The cluster connector assembly is advantageous in that, each connector may be locked by a locking sleeve assigned uniquely for it, whereby the respective connectors can be locked reliably independent of each other. The present disclosure further relates to a method for mounting the cluster connector assembly.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a coaxial connector including a female connector and a male connector, which have free ends. The female connector includes: a first inner conductor; a first outer conductor; and a first insulator arranged between the first inner conductor and the first outer conductor. The male connector includes: a second inner conductor, a second outer conductor, and a second insulator for isolating and supporting the second inner conductor and the second outer conductor, arranged between the second inner conductor and the second outer conductor, wherein the first outer conductor includes an inner main body circumferentially surrounding the first insulator, the inner main body includes a resilient finger-shaped element located at the free end of the first outer conductor, and the first outer conductor and the second outer conductor form electrical contact by means of the resilient finger-shaped element, wherein the first insulator extends longitudinally at least as far as the resilient finger-shaped element.
