    Abstract: A bracket mounts a device to any of plural surfaces at any of a plural orientations. A platform part has a mounting surface to support the device. An end part is at one end and has openings to receive threaded screws by which the end part is fastened to a first external surface when in a first orientation. The mounting surface has openings to receive threaded screws by which the platform part is alternatively fastened to a second external surface when in a second orientation. A slot in the mounting surface receives a knob secured to the device. Arms extend from the mounting surface part way between the end part and the curved part and each has an opening to receive a threaded fastener that is also received by a threaded opening in an end surface of the device.

    Abstract: An adjustable monitor stand that can hold a monitor includes a carrier, a base, and a low friction insert. First and second channel insertion portions extend from a curved lower surface of the low friction insert. Each has outer walls to be received by and fixedly engage with first and second base channels formed in a curved upper surface of the base, respectively, to prevent movement of the low friction insert with respect to the base. The first and second channel insertion portions each have inner walls to receive first and second protrusions extending from a curved lower surface of the carrier, respectively, and permit the carrier to be moved about a non-vertical axis as the first and second protrusions slide along the inner walls. The first and second protrusions of the carrier also form a frictional engagement with the inner walls of the first and second channel insertion portions.

    Abstract: A monitor stand for use in holding and maintaining a position of a monitor comprising a carrier adapted to removably and fixedly hold a monitor, the carrier including first and second trapezoidal shaped cubic mounting protrusions on a bottommost portion of the carrier, and wherein the carrier is further adapted to rotate between a first angular placement and a second angular placement, a base enclosure adapted to provide a substantially stable platform to hold the monitor in an upright condition and to provide a frictional engagement against which the carrier can rotate, the base enclosure including first and second base enclosure channels, a low friction insert adapted to be inserted between the carrier and the base enclosure and which is part of the frictional engagement of the base enclosure, the low friction insert including a first and second channel insertion portions adapted to fit into the first and second base enclosure channels respectively, and wherein the first and second trapezoidal shaped cubic mounting protrusions of the carrier fit into the first and second channel insertion portions, respectively, and first and second spring retention assemblies, each of which is adapted to provide a substantially constant rotational spring force against a direction of movement of the monitor due to gravity, and which are affixed to the first and second protrusions respectively.
