Abstract: A magnet retaining pocket defined by a bore having a first bore portion and a second bore portion, wherein the first bore portion comprises a resilient tongue, and wherein the second bore portion contains an opening and a second attachment member recessed from the openings. The magnet is retained by the magnet retaining pocket by being inserted into the first bore portion to deflect the tongue and slid into the second bore portion, such that the first attachment member of the magnet engages the second attachment member of the second bore portion, until the magnet is exposed through the opening.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and modes for mechanically and electrically interconnecting a plurality of electrical modules mounted on a rail side by side via an interconnector. Each electrical module comprises a housing and at least one slotted port recessed in the housing having a plurality of electrical contact pins therein. The interconnector comprises a first portion and a second portion each having a plurality of electrical contact pads, wherein each contact pad in the first portion is electrically connected to respective one of the plurality of contract pads in the second portion. The interconnector is adapted to removably attach to the electrical modules by inserting the first and second portions into respective slotted ports in the electrical modules and thereby aligning and electrically connecting the contact pads of the interconnector with respective contact pins of the electrical modules.

Abstract: Battery operated shade comprising a shade material operably connected at its top end to a motor drive unit that raises and lowers the shade material between an upper limit and a lower limit to adjustably cover a structural opening. The shade comprises a housing that at least partially conceals the motor drive unit. The shade further comprises a battery compartment for providing power to the motor drive unit and a pair of swing arms each pivotally connected at their proximal end to the shade housing and at their distal end to the battery compartment. The pair of swing arm are adapted to pivot with respect to the shade housing to swivel the battery compartment from a first position, where the battery compartment is at least partially concealed by the shade housing and the pair of swing arms are retained by a pair of retaining clips, to a second position where the battery compartment extends out of the shade housing.

Abstract: Apparatus, system, and method for ganging a plurality of wall mounted control devices, such as keypads. Particularly, an assembly of ganged control devices is provided comprising a pair of adjacently positioned control devices each adapted to control at least one function of at least one associated load. Each control device comprises a housing assembly and at least one button attached to the housing assembly. The housing assembly comprises a pair of oppositely disposed side surfaces each comprising a pair of vertically aligned recesses. Each recess comprises a tapered inner side wall. The assembly further comprises an alignment plate comprising a vertical wall adapted to be positioned in between the pair of control devices and a pair of vertically aligned tabs traversely extending from oppositely disposed side surfaces of the vertical wall. Each tab comprises a tapered outer side wall. The tabs are sized, shaped, and positioned to be inserted into the recesses such that the tapered outer side walls of the tabs form a friction fit with the tapered inner side walls of the recesses to removably attach and align the pair of control devices.
