Abstract: A steering control device has a steering actuator as an operation target, the steering actuator includes a motor and a steering mechanism mechanically connected to a rotary shaft of the motor. The steering control device includes a controller configured to perform i) a low-temperature process of changing a torque of the motor when an estimated value estimated from a temperature of a lubrication target part of the steering mechanism is equal to or lower than a predetermined value with respect to when the estimated value is higher than the predetermined value and ii) an estimation process of calculating the estimated value which is set be lower than a detected value of a temperature sensor detecting a temperature of a predetermined member attached to the steering mechanism based on a heat emission parameter of the steering actuator associated with a current flow with the detected value as an input.

Abstract: A vehicle power supply system includes a power source control device that executes a process of switching a connection state of a driving circuit to the main power source and an auxiliary power source including; a process of switching the connection state so as to transition to a backup state as a voltage decrease of the main power source occurs, and a process of switching the connection state so as to transition to a normal state as the voltage decrease of the main power source is resolved. After a voltage decrease of the main power source occurs, a turning-side control device of a steering control unit sets an output-limited state for a turning-side motor. The output-limited state is canceled upon the power source control device completing switching of the connection state so as to transition.

Abstract: A steering control system that controls a steering device of a vehicle includes a storage unit, and a control unit configured to make a state transition to a normal control state via a start-up state after a power source system of the vehicle is started. In the start-up state, the control unit executes a correction information storing process of acquiring correction element information using a state variable obtained from the steering device and writing correction information obtained based on the correction element information into the storage unit. In the start-up state, the control unit is configured to execute an abnormal condition determination process of determining whether an abnormal condition indicating that the correction information is abnormal is met. The correction information storing process is re-executed when the abnormal condition is met. The abnormal condition determination process is executed at least either before or after the correction information storing process.

Abstract: An ECU includes a plurality of motor driving circuits for driving at least one motor, a plurality of computers and a plurality of clock circuits. A first computer, which is at a synchronization signal transmission-side, transmits a synchronization signal to a second computer, which is at a synchronization signal reception-side. The first computer and the second computer execute a plurality of specific periodic processes, which are processes executed at cycle periods (for example, 200 μs, 400 μs) of different natural number multiples of a cycle period (for example, 200 μs) of the synchronization signal and need be synchronized. Each timing of the plurality of specific periodic processes is determined based on one synchronization signal.
