摘要: A vehicular driving assist system includes a camera, a non-vision sensor, and an electronic control unit (ECU) disposed at a vehicle equipped with the vehicular driving assist system. Captured image data is transferred from the camera to the ECU and processed at the ECU and captured sensor data is transferred from the non-vision sensor to the ECU and processed at the ECU. Another vehicle forward of the equipped vehicle is detected via processing at the ECU of captured image data and via processing at the ECU of captured sensor data. The system determines a difference between detection of the other vehicle via processing at the ECU of transferred image data and detection of the other vehicle via processing at the ECU of transferred sensor data. The vehicular driving assist system determines misalignment of the non-vision sensor relative to the camera based at least in part on the determined difference.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that improve stability of automated driving control by enabling appropriate acquisition of a substitutable sensing result from another sensor at the time of failure of a specific sensor without increasing a communication load in a case where there is no abnormality in the sensor in automated driving control using a plurality of sensors.
In a case where a malfunction of a sensor is detected in a first subsystem among a plurality of subsystems, a second subsystem including a sensor that detects a sensing result that is substitutable for a sensing result of the sensor of the first subsystem is caused to transfer the sensing result of the sensor to the first subsystem. The present disclosure can be applied to a vehicle control system of a vehicle that performs automated driving.-

摘要: Systems and techniques are disclosed for providing remote assistance to autonomous vehicles. An example method can include navigating an autonomous vehicle (AV) to a facility and/or a location within the facility; determining an error condition encountered by the AV in the facility, the error condition including a failure to perform a maneuver in the facility and/or a restriction of the AV preventing the AV from performing the maneuver in the facility; in response to the error condition, initiating a switch of an operation of the AV from an autonomous operation to a human-controlled operation; receiving, from a human operator, an instruction for the AV to perform one or more maneuvers determined to resolve the error condition, wherein the one or more maneuvers include the maneuver or an alternative maneuver; and triggering the AV to perform the one or more maneuvers based on the instruction.

摘要: A method includes an initial trailer health assessment and real-time trailer health monitoring. The initial trailer health assessment includes autonomous pre-trip maneuvers of the autonomous vehicle during a first time period, and detecting a pre-trip vehicle health condition. A vehicle health score is calculated based on the pre-trip vehicle health condition. If the vehicle health score is at least a threshold value, real-time trailer health monitoring is performed during a trip of the autonomous vehicle during a second time period, by actively monitoring vehicle dynamics data and/or image data associated with the autonomous vehicle, to determine a fault condition of the autonomous vehicle. If the fault condition meets a first criteria, a control parameter and/or a travel plan of the autonomous vehicle is adjusted. If the fault condition meets a second criteria different from the first criteria, a signal is sent to cause the autonomous vehicle to cease movement.

摘要: Methods and systems for monitoring use, determining risk, and pricing insurance policies for a vehicle having autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, a computer-implemented method for generating or updating usage-based insurance policies for autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles may be provided. A request to generate an insurance quote may be received via wireless communication, and with the customer's permission, risk levels associated with intended usage by the customer of an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle may be determined. An insurance policy may be adjusted based upon the risk levels and the intended vehicle usage. The insurance policy may then be presented on the customer's mobile device for review and approval. In some aspects, the vehicle may be rented, and the intended vehicle usage is measured in distance or duration of vehicle operation. Insurance discounts may be provided to risk averse vehicle owners based upon low risk levels.

摘要: A device is for checking the plausibility of measured values of an axle load measuring system determinable via a sensor system, using which the axle load resting on all axles of a vehicle is determinable as a first total axle load value. The device has a comparator and a computing unit. A second total axle load value is computable via the computing unit. The first and the second total axle load value can be supplied to the comparator, a comparison between the two total axle load values can be carried out via the comparator, and, if there is a sufficiently large difference between the first total axle load value and the second total axle load value, an error message can be generated and/or a signal generator can be activated via the comparator. Manipulations and measurement errors on the axle load measuring system may be recognized in this way.

摘要: A process allocation control method is provided that controls, in a system including an in-vehicle computer mounted in the vehicle and an external computer provided external to the vehicle as nodes communicable with each other, allocation of a process related to driving assistance of the vehicle to the nodes. The process allocation control method includes: estimating an allocation risk of the process being interrupted in cases of allocating the process to either of the nodes, based on at least one of a remaining battery charge of the vehicle or a communication status between the nodes; and determining the node to which the process should be allocated, based on the allocation risk.

摘要: An information processing device includes a processor. The processor acquires an operation amount for acceleration/deceleration of a first vehicle by a driver of the first vehicle. The processor acquires an inter-vehicle distance from the first vehicle to a second vehicle traveling ahead of the first vehicle. The processor determines whether the operation amount meets a first specific condition determined in advance. The processor determines whether the inter-vehicle distance meets a second specific condition determined in advance. The processor calculates a diagnosis result about the inter-vehicle distance based on the inter-vehicle distance acquired when the processor determines that both the first specific condition and the second specific condition are met. The processor outputs the diagnosis result.

摘要: A driving handover control device includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. In a case in which driving is handed over from a first state in which a vehicle travels in accordance with instruction from a first remote operator of the vehicle to a second state in which the vehicle travels in accordance with instruction from a second remote operator who is different from the first remote operator, the processor implements a transition from the first state to a third state in which the vehicle travels autonomously without instruction from the first remote operator or the second remote operator, and, after the transition from the first state to the third state, implements a transition from the third state to the second state.
