    Abstract: Provided are a camera with good operability and a display control method of the camera. Contact of a finger with a rear command dial D1 is detected. In a case where the contact of the finger with the rear command dial D1 is not detected, only setting contents of the camera are displayed on a sub-display 16 provided near the rear command dial D1. In a case where the contact of the finger with the rear command dial D1 is detected, an image picture of the rear command dial D1 is displayed in a first size on the sub-display 16. In a case where the contact of the finger with the rear command dial D1 is continuously detected for a certain period of time or more, or in a case where the rear command dial D1 is operated, the image picture of the rear command dial D1 is enlarged and displayed in a second size.

    Abstract: Provided are a camera that is capable of preventing an erroneous operation with a compact configuration and has good operability, a setting method of the camera, and a setting program of the camera. A part of the outer periphery of a command dial is built in a camera body, and a part of the command dial is disposed in an exposed manner from the back surface of the camera body for a rotation operation. A sub-display is disposed on the command dial in an overlapped manner. The sub-display is formed of a touch panel and detects contact with a display surface of the sub-display. An operation by the command dial is validated while the contact with the display surface of the sub-display is detected.

    Abstract: There are provided a setting device and a camera that allow a user to easily grasp settable conditions with a compact structure. A display section is provided on the upper surface of a sensitivity dial. Sensitivities are switched according to the rotation of the sensitivity dial. A display on the display section is switched according to the switching of sensitivities. A currently selected sensitivity is displayed on the display section at a set value-display position Po. The maximum value of a settable sensitivity is displayed at a maximum value-display position Pmax, and the minimum value thereof is displayed at a minimum value-display position Pmin.
