Abstract: A spray device assembly for a dishwasher appliance is provided including an outer tube and an inner tube. The outer tube extends along an axial direction and defines an outer tube orifice extending along a length of the outer tube. The inner tube also extends along the axial direction and is rotatably positioned at least partially within an opening of the outer tube. Moreover, the inner tube defines an inner tube orifice extending along a length of the inner tube. The outer tube orifice and inner tube orifice together define a nozzle where the outer tube orifice and the inner tube orifice overlap, the nozzle configured to move along the outer tube orifice as the inner tube and the outer tube are rotated relative to one another.

Abstract: The present subject matter provides a dishwasher appliance that measures the amount of ozone in a wash chamber of the appliance. The appliance is also configured for adjusting the amount of ozone in the wash chamber based upon such measurements. The appliance may adjust the amount of ozone by, e.g., adjusting the flow rate of wash fluid to the wash chamber, adjusting the flow rate of air in the wash chamber, and/or adjusting the temperature of wash chamber. Related methods are also provided.

Abstract: A method for operating a dishwasher appliance is provided. The method includes interrupting a flow of wash fluid from a filtered volume of a sump to a spray assembly for a period of time during a wash cycle and resuming the flow of wash fluid from the filtered volume of the sump to the spray assembly after the period of time has elapsed during the wash cycle. The method can assist with limiting clogging of a filter media positioned between the filtered volume of the sump and an unfiltered position of the sump.
