    摘要： A diverter valve 10 has a two piece housing 22 including a lower member 24 and an upper member 26 securely snap fitted together within a cavity 12 of a faucet body 14. The housing 22 has a piston valve assembly 28 slidably mounted therein for movement between a first position which allows water to flow through a spout and a second position which allows water to flow to a spray head. The diverter valve has prongs 72 which resiliently bias the spool assembly 28 to the first position to reduce chattering of the valve assembly and to provide a back-up anti-siphon system.

    摘要： 'An aerator has a pressure responsive valve assembly therein for restricting the flow therethrough when the pressure of the water supply is increased. The aerator includes a housing mounting a stream straightener member and a partition member. The partition member seats an annular O-ring which in turn seats a movable valve element. The valve element and partition define an assembly with a variable sized passageway. The valve element is responsive to pressure from the pressure source to compress and move the O-ring to constringe the passageway. A mixing body is movably mounted between the stream straightener and the partition member for mixing water from the passageway with air. The valve element has a depending leg which is manually operable from the outlet of the housing. The leg can be pressed upwardly to lift the valve element which opens up the passageway thereby creating turbulence in the aerator. The turbulence vibrates the mixing body which can be audibly detected to indicate that the aerator is being flushed and cleaned.

    摘要： An improved fabricated faucet is disclosed in which no mounting screws are visible when the spout is mounted. In a preferred embodiment an under cover has a notch received on a tab within an internal surface of an upper cover to secure the two at a forward end. Screws preferably secure the two at a rearward end, which will be hidden when the spout is mounted. For longer spouts it may be preferable to use two of the notch and tab combinations spaced symmetrically about a central axis of the spout. Ribs formed on the upper cover may abut the under cover to provide additional rigidity. In another aspect of the present invention, an outlet end portion of a fluid flow line is received in an outlet port formed through the under cover. The outlet end portion has threads at an inner periphery to mount an end effector, such as an aerator or a stream straightener. A sealing ring is received at the outer periphery of the outlet end portion to provide a fluid seal between the outlet end and the under cover body. This allows the faucet spout to be utilized without internal leakage even if the end effector is removed.
