Abstract: A tangible, non-transitory, computer-readable medium, including computer-readable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a computer, cause the one or more processors to generate a first digital product definition associated with a computer-aided design (CAD) model. Furthermore, the computer-readable instructions cause the one or more processors to present, via a graphical-user-interface (GUI) on a display, the first digital product definition, such that the first digital product definition includes product and manufacturing information (PMI) associated with the CAD model, generate a second digital product definition based on a selection via the GUI, such that the second digital product definition includes a portion of the PMI associated with the CAD model that is indicated by the selection, receive an indication to modify at least a subset of the portion of the PMI of the second digital product definition, modify the at least subset of the portion of the PMI of the second digital product definition based on the indication, and update the PMI of the first digital product definition, based on the modification to the subset of the portion of the PMI.

The instructions are also configured to cause the processor to derive a graph based on the accessed data. The graph includes one or more graph elements. Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes accessing a computer-aided-design (CAD) model. For each component of the CAD model the computer-implemented method includes gathering relevant information pertinent to downstream analysis software, identifying start points, end points, or both, aggregating the relevant information to collected component information, and generating a component file using the collected component information. The component file includes attributes that are interpretable by the downstream analysis software to provide analysis of the CAD model.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for applying passive strain indicators to a component includes creating a plurality of surface curves and a plurality of data points on each of the plurality of surface curves, the plurality of surface curves and the plurality of data points defining the exterior surface of the component. The method further includes receiving data indicative of a user input selection of a selected surface curve of the plurality of surface curves, a selected data point of the plurality of data points on the selected surface curve, and a selected rotation angle. The method further includes determining an output dimension, location, and orientation of a passive strain indicator. The method further includes providing one or more control signals to a passive strain indicator application system to cause the system to apply the passive strain indicator having the output dimension, location, and orientation to the component.

Abstract: A computer aided technology system includes a processor. The processor may receive a design model for a blade that has multiple diffuser holes. Also, the processor may derive a hole position and a vector for each of the multiple diffuser holes. In addition, the processor may translate the hole position to a machine coordinate system to create a translated hole position. Moreover, the processor may generate a manufacturing program based on the translated hole position and the vector. The blade includes a stator vane, a rotor vane, or a combination thereof. Abstract: A blade includes an airfoil body defined by a concave pressure side outer wall and a convex suction side outer wall that connect along leading and trailing edges and, therebetween, form a radially extending chamber for receiving the flow of a coolant. The airfoil body has an inner surface facing the radially extending chamber and an outer surface, a first corrugated surface on a portion of the outer surface, and a second corrugated surface on the inner surface paralleling the first corrugated surface. The corrugated surface on the outer surface of the airfoil provides wake mixing. The blade may also include an integrally formed impingement cooling structure having a third corrugated surface parallel to the second corrugated surface, which is made possible through additive manufacturing. The impingement cooling structure so formed provides improved cooling of the blade.
