摘要： A polyether polyol having an average hydroxyl value in the range 400 to 650 mgKOH/g which is a alkoxylated derivative of a polyhydric alcohol being itself a single compound or a mixture of compounds according to the general formula (I) ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is --H, --CH.sub.3 or OCH.sub.3R.sup.2 is --H, --CH.sub.2 OH or --CH.sub.2 C(CH.sub.2 OH).sub.3The preparation of polyurethanes, including rigid foams, using these polyols, is also disclosed.
