Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for defining content presentation interfaces based on identified similarities between received and stored media content items. In one implementation, a processing device receives a first media content item from a content creator. The processing device processes the first media content item in relation to one or more media content items associated with a content owner to identify one or more similarities between the first media content item and the one or more media content items. The processing device defines, based on an identification of one or more similarities between the first media content item and the one or more media content items and in relation to the content owner, one or more aspects of a content presentation interface within which the first media content item is presented.

Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for including information in an invitation from a first to connect with a second user that identifies a context regarding how the first user found the second user. A system can include a request component configured to receive, at a first network source, information identifying a second user that a first user has selected to send an invitation to connect with at the first network source, a context component configured to determine a context regarding selection of the second user by the first user, including where the first user found the information identifying the second user, and a generation component configured to generate an invitation that invites the second user to connect with the first user at the first network source. The invitation comprises first user identification information and context information identifying the context regarding the selection of the second user by the first user.
Abstract:
A method for generating content sharing platform playlists and subscriptions based on user history is disclosed. The method includes identifying one or more entities of a content sharing platform to which a user is not subscribed, providing a user interface (UI) associated with the user, the UI displaying the identified one or more entities as recommended suggestions to the user, receiving, by the user via the UI, an indication of a selection of an entity of the identified one or more entities, generating a subscription to the selected entity for the user on the content sharing platform, using content items associated with the subscribed entity to originate a playlist for the user, and providing the playlist on the UI associated with the user.
