摘要: An image display is provided with a display area including pixels, each including illuminating means. A control circuit turns the illuminating means of the pixels on and off. A capacitance is provided having a first node connected to an input terminal of the control circuit. A display signal voltage generation circuit generates display signal voltages for the pixels, while a pixel drive voltage generation circuit generates pixel drive voltages for the pixels. In addition, a connecter is provided for connecting either one of the display signal voltages or the pixel drive voltages to a second node of the capacitance.

摘要: A self-luminescence display device, in which dispersion in display among a plurality of pixels, caused by dispersion in characteristics among drive thin-film transistors, is decreased and uniform display free of unevenness can be obtained. The device includes a plurality of pixels having current drive type luminescent elements, and parallel-connected n (n≧2) thin-film transistors to feed a drive current to the respective current drive type luminescent elements. The transistors are arranged in different pixels, respectively, for example, in a first region of pixels adjacent to one another along a first direction. A second region of dummy pixels can be provided on at least one side of said first region along said first direction.

摘要: An organic light emitting display provided according to the invention maintains light emission efficiency and elongates its lifetime by radiating heat generated from organic light emitting elements to the outside of an encapsulated area. In the organic light emitting display, a part of a cathode is extended to the outside of the encapsulated area of a main substrate to form a radiation section integrally with the cathode. Heat generated from organic light emitting elements is diffused and radiated from the radiation section so that the heat can be discharged therefrom.

摘要: The present invention provides an organic electroluminescent display device and a method of repairing a defective pixel of an organic electroluminescent display device which can realize the repairing a defective pixel to a light emitting pixel by electrically separating a leak portion which generates a defective pixel. To be more specific, a peeling suppression layer is formed between an anode and an organic light emitting layer formed on a main substrate, and a cavity is formed between the main substrate and the peeling suppression layer due to the evaporation generated by an absorption of laser beams thus electrically separating a defective portion so as to repair a black-dot defective pixel to form a light emitting pixel.
