    摘要: A toroidal type continuously variable transmission has an input shaft to which a rotation torque is input, an input side disk and an output side disk that are concentrically and rotatably supported by the input shaft in a state that an inner peripheral surface of the input side disk opposes to an inner peripheral surface of the output side disk, a power roller held between the input side disk and the output side disk and a hydraulic loading device applying predetermined pressing force so that the power roller is pressed between the input and output side disks. Fine grooves are formed on at least a radially inner part of the inner peripheral surface of the input side disk and at least radially outer part of the inner peripheral surface of the output side disk, respectively.

    摘要: A continuously variable transmission apparatus includes a toroidal continuously variable transmission, a planetary gear transmission and a clutch apparatus that connects the toroidal continuously variable transmission and the planetary gear transmission. The clutch apparatus includes: a low speed clutch a high speed clutch and a controller. The controller controls the transmission ratio of the toroidal continuously variable transmission so that rotational speeds of members connected via the clutch apparatus equals with each other, and then disengages the one of the low speed clutch and the high speed clutch after engaging the other, whereby an instance of simultaneously transmitting the power by the two clutches is set during a time period until disconnecting the other clutch after starting to transmit the power by the one clutch.

The input and output disks are supported mutually concentrically with said input shaft and mutually independently rotatably. The plural power rollers are sandwiched between said input disk and said output disks. The power roller bearing rotatably supports said power rollers. The oil passage for leading lubricating oil to said power roller bearing. The mesh filter is provided in said oil passage. Accordingly, the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission can prevent an occurrence of biting-in of foreign substances at a power roller bearing, to thereby increase the life of the power roller bearing.

    摘要: This toroidal continuous variable transmission detects a deviation of the spool valve from its neutral position and performs a feedback control to prevent the transmission ratio from converging on other than the target transmission ratio or the speed change sequence from being started again. Further, the toroidal continuous variable transmission performs control so that as the actual transmission ratio approaches the target transmission ratio, the transmission speed decreases in order to prevent an overshoot of the speed change control. When the difference between the actual transmission ratio and the target transmission ratio is smaller than a specified value, the output signals to the solenoid valves are controlled so that the pressure difference between the pilot pressures acting on the ends of the spool valves is proportional to the difference between the actual transmission ratio and the target transmission ratio. When the difference between the actual transmission ratio and the target transmission ratio exceeds the specified value, the target transmission speed is set according to the difference and the output signals to the solenoid valves are controlled so that the pressure difference between the pilot pressures acting on the ends of the spools is proportional to the difference between the actual transmission speed and the target transmission speed.
