    摘要: Disclosed is a mechanically operational arrangement for continuously variable transmission, comprising a central shaft (1), wherein a toothed groove section (8) is circumferentially arranged in a middle portion of an external surface of the central shaft (1); wherein a shaft sleeve (9) is fitted over the external surface of the central shaft (1); wherein a plurality of axial limiting grooves (10) are provided on an external surface of the shaft sleeve (9); wherein inserted into each axial limiting groove (10) is a connecting plate (6); wherein an arc-shaped toothed wheel section (7) is arranged on an inner end face of each connecting plate (6); wherein each of the arc-shaped toothed wheel sections (7) is meshed with the toothed groove section (8); wherein a pivot (11) is mounted in a side face of each connecting plate (6); and wherein each connecting plate (6) is respectively hinged to a groove wall of one axial limiting groove (10) via the respective pivot (11). The mechanically operational arrangement for continuously variable transmission solves the problems existing in the prior art of continuously variable transmission arrangement that has an easily damaged steel belt with structural complexity and inconvenient maintenance.

The other of the disks is rotatably supported, via a first bearing, on a hollow shaft into which the shaft is inserted and which is non-rotatably supported by a support member. The shaft is rotatably supported on the hollow shaft via a second bearing.

    摘要: A transmission includes a toroidal variator including a nested endload assembly. The nested endload assembly has two chambers configured to develop a clamping force on components of the variator. The endload assembly includes a housing, a backing plate, a piston positioned adjacent the backing plate and cooperating with the backing plate to define a first chamber for receiving pressurized fluid to act on the piston. The endload assembly also includes a load plate and an input race that cooperate to define a second chamber. The input race of the variator is acted upon by the piston when the piston is acted upon by pressurized fluid in the first chamber. The input race is also acted upon by pressurized fluid in the second chamber.

    摘要: A supercharging arrangement for an internal combustion engine. The supercharging arrangement comprises a supercharger having a rotational drive input, and a transmission having a rotational drive input to receive drive from an internal combustion engine, and a rotational drive output connected to the input of the supercharger. The transmission includes a variator operatively connected between the input and the output of the transmission, which variator has an output that is driven at an operating ratio from an input. A control system operates to cause an engine to deliver an amount of torque that is indicated by the state of an input to the control system. The control system is further operative to set the operating ratio of the variator.
