摘要： A vehicle moving distance detecting method that includes the steps of obtaining a moving distance based upon pulse signals received from a vehicle speed sensor when a vehicle speed obtained based upon the pulse signals received from the vehicle speed sensor is equal to or higher than a predetermined reference vehicle speed; and acquiring a plurality of image data sets, which have been captured at different points in time using an image capturing mechanism provided to the vehicle, and obtaining the moving distance by performing image processing for the plurality of image data sets when the vehicle speed is less than the reference vehicle speed.

摘要： A conventional color conversion apparatus was associated with a problem of generation of an achromatic component and reduction in the luminance.A color conversion apparatus according to the present invention generates new color data corresponding to color red of red, green and blue by means of matrix calculation using a first calculation term which is effective for just one of the hues of red, yellow, blue, green, cyan, magenta and yellow, and a second calculation term which is calculated from the first calculation term and which is effective for a predetermined inter-hue region included in at least one of inter-hue zones of red-yellow, yellow-green, green-cyan, cyan-magenta, and magenta-red, so that color conversion can be achieved without generation of an unnecessary achromatic component or reduction in the luminance.

摘要： Responsive to image data of three colors, six hue data are obtained, and then first comparison-result data and second-order terms each relating to one of the six hues, and second comparison-result data each relating to one of the six inter-hue areas are obtained. Matrix calculation is performed on the first comparison-result data, the second comparison-result data, and the second-order terms, using coefficients. By varying the coefficients, adjustment can be made to only the target hue or inter-hue area, without affecting other hues and inter-hue areas. Thus, the six hues and six inter-hue areas can be varied independently, and the large-capacity memory is not required. In addition, gray scale conversion is applied to the result of the matrix calculation, so as to compensate for the non-linearity of the output device.

摘要： In an image display device for receiving and displaying image data, color converter converts the image data on the basis of conversion characteristics data stored in a conversion characteristics storage. The conversion characteristics designation means including means for designating the hue of the colors outputs the conversion characteristics designation data, and conversion characteristics setting means calculates the conversion characteristics data on the basis of the conversion characteristics designation data, and sets the conversion characteristics data in the conversion characteristics storage. The color converter comprises a calculation term generator for receiving the first image data, and outputting calculation terms which are effective just for the specific hues; and a matrix calculator performing matrix calculation using the calculation terms effective just for the specific hues. The user can adjust just the hue of the desired color. Real-time processing of moving pictures can be achieved without placing a heavy load on a CPU. The image after the adjustment can be displayed on a real-time basis.

摘要： A method and apparatus for adjusting a color difference signal of an image includes a video signal processor. The video signal processor receives a luminance signal and color difference signals representing the image, and accesses a color saturation level from a color saturation level table stored in memory based on the color difference signals. The video signal processor then detects flesh tone in areas of the image based on the luminance signal and the color saturation level, and generates a flesh tone detecting signal based on results of the flesh tone detection.

摘要： A biaxially oriented blow-molded bottle-shaped container made of synthetic resin comprises a rectangular tubular body provided with a generally central circumferential groove having upper and lower sidewalls. The sidewalls are inclined at an oblique angle within a range of 21.degree.-28.degree. with respect to a vertical longitudinal axis of the container. The rectangular tubular body includes flat walls, each having a central recessed portion with a bottom wall comprising a shaped panel wall for compensating for deformation due to reduced pressure in the container and a shaped peripheral groove invertedly curved around the shaped panel wall. The shaped panel wall has ribs traversing the shaped panel wall parallel to each other, and a crest of each of the ribs has a larger radius of curvature than that of a root thereof. The rectangular tubular body has an upper end which is a regular polygon having twice as many corners as corner panels of a main portion of the body and a shoulder having a lower end portion connected to the upper end of the body. The lower end portion of the shoulder is in the form of a regular polygonal truncated pyramid shape.
