摘要： A printing fluid cartridge includes a front face oriented toward a first direction, a rear face positioned opposite the front face and oriented toward a second direction opposite the first direction, an electrical interface disposed at a particular face, such that the electrical interface is exposed to an exterior of the printing fluid cartridge, a chamber configured to store printing fluid therein, and a printing fluid supply portion positioned at the front face, and comprising a printing fluid supply opening. The printing fluid supply portion is configured to supply the printing fluid from an interior of the chamber to an exterior of the chamber via the printing fluid supply opening. The printing fluid supply opening is positioned below the electrical interface when the printing fluid cartridge is in use. The electrical interface is positioned closer to the rear face than the printing fluid supply opening is.

The substrate body has four sides including first and second sides extending in a first direction and opposing each other in a second direction. The substrate body has a top surface on which the electrode is mounted. The electrode has first and second outer points positioned closest to the first and second sides in the second direction respectively. The top surface has: a first area between the first side and a first imaginary line extending in the first direction and passing through the first outer point; a second area between the second side and a second imaginary line extending in the first direction and passing through the second outer point; and a third area interposed between the first area and the second area in the second direction, the substrate body being formed with a first opening in the first area.

摘要： An ink cartridge includes a case having an ink chamber and a wall, an air communication portion having a first opening, and an ink supply portion having a second opening. The air communication portion includes a first lid member that moves between a first position not covering the first opening, and a second position covering the first opening, and a first biasing member that applies a first biasing force to the first lid member. The ink supply portion includes a second lid member that moves between a third position not covering the second opening and a fourth position covering the second opening, and a second biasing member that applies a second biasing force to the second lid member. When the first lid member is in the second position and the second lid member is in the fourth position, the first biasing force is less than the second biasing force.

摘要： In a printing fluid cartridge, a cartridge body has a printing fluid delivery unit provided on a first cartridge-body surface. A bracket has at least a first bracket wall confronting the first cartridge-body surface, and a second bracket wall extending continuously from the first bracket wall in a first direction. The bracket is capable of moving relative to the cartridge body in a direction along which the second bracket wall contacts and separates from the cartridge body. A restriction member is configured to be detachably mounted on the cartridge body and the bracket, and is configured to, when the restriction member is mounted on the cartridge body and the bracket, restrict relative movement between the cartridge body and the bracket, with the second bracket wall of the bracket in contact with the cartridge body.

摘要： An ink supply system includes an ink cartridge and a cartridge mounting portion. The ink cartridge includes an ink chamber, and a tube having a first opening and a second opening formed therein. The first opening extends from a first end of the tube, and the second opening extends from a second end of the tube opposite the first end of the tube. The first opening is configured to be in fluid communication with the ink chamber via the first end of the tube, and the second opening is configured to be in fluid communication with an exterior of the tube via the second opening of the tube. The cartridge mounting portion includes a projection configured to be inserted into the second opening of the tube via the second end of the tube. A diameter of the second opening is less than an outer diameter of the projection.
