Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a media content playing method, a server, and a display apparatus, where the method includes: receiving a first request, where the first request is used to instruct to send first media content to a first display apparatus; sending the first media content to the first display apparatus according to the first request; and sending first information corresponding to the first media content to a second server, and the second display apparatus is configured to play the second media content. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a server is allowed to send second media content corresponding to the first media content to a second display apparatus, when the second media content is an advertisement, an advertisement effect of the first media content can be fully exerted.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for displaying a media file on a terminal by using a page, including: when a page acquiring instruction is received, acquiring pictures of multiple pieces of media content that need to be included in a to-be-displayed page; acquiring popularity data of each piece of media content in the multiple pieces of media content; and determining, according to a preset correspondence between popularity data and a popularity level, a popularity level corresponding to the popularity data of each piece of media content, marking, by using a popularity identifier that corresponds to the popularity level of each piece of media content, a picture of each piece of media content to obtain the display page, and displaying the display page on the terminal, where the display page includes the pictures of the multiple pieces of media content.

The present invention provides a display method of a mobile device selection and a terminal device. The method includes: receiving a location movement signal sent by a mobile device; determining a location, of a cursor focus of the mobile device, on a screen according to the location movement signal; and determining that the cursor focus moves toward a target icon, and if a distance between the cursor focus and the target icon is greater than zero and is less than or equal to a first threshold, determining that the cursor focus selects the target icon, thereby improving user operation efficiency, reducing operation complexity, and ensuring desirable interaction experience of a user.
