摘要： A mounting rail for a firearm is disclosed. The mounting rail may be a picatinny rail, a weaver rail, or the like, which allows tools such as lights or lasers to be attached to a firearm. The mounting rail is reversible and may be mounted within a portion of the firearm, such as the forend. The other side of the rail may match the finish and texture of the firearm so that the mounting rail is hidden from view when reversed.

摘要： A magazine fed shotgun may not use the space within a magazine tube. An accessory, such as a light or a laser, may be inserted into the magazine tube. A switch that operates the accessory may be located on the pump grip of the shotgun. The switch may be connected to the accessory with a wiring harness that may extend through an opening in the tube. The opening may be elongated so that the wiring harness can move with the pump grip when the pump grip is cycled by an operator.

摘要： A dynamic latch to selectively retain a magazine within the magazine port of a long gun. The dynamic latch permits the magazine to be inserted into the magazine port by movement in a single direction eliminating the need to rotate the magazine in order to secure it within the magazine port. The dynamic latch may also eliminate the need to add a magazine well to the receiver of a shotgun or long gun. The dynamic latch may include an outer housing, a piston positioned within the housing, and a spring positioned within the piston. A latch profile on the end of the piston may extend out of an opening in the end of the housing when the spring is in an uncompressed state. The dynamic latch may also be used to connect a tube, such as a magazine tube, to the receiver.

摘要： A modular cheek rest assembly for a gunstock. The major members of the assembly are a low level cheek rest, a high level cheek rest, a storage container, a shotgun shell holder and a magazine holder. The low level cheek rest is the principal member that has engagement structure adjacent the bottom ends of its side walls for detachably securing the low level cheek rest to the butt stock of a firearm. There are attachment structure on the outer surface of the side walls of the low level cheek rest for disengageably attaching the other members. There is the ability to attach these members on either the right or left side depending on the preference of the user. If the high level cheek rest is needed, it nests over the top of the low level cheek rest.

摘要： A method for upgrading a non-recoil suppressing (NRS) stock to a special operations (Spec Ops) stock with full recoil suppression. The new parts are the slide member and lever that has a cam member mounted on its upper end and an extension spring attached to its bottom end. A locking pin is removed from the stationary slide member and two retainer pins are inserted from the sides into the new slide member to facilitate spring action. This structure functions in the same manner as the recoil reduction structure illustrated in U.S. Pat. No. 5,722,195. A replacement sleeve has a rib member extending downwardly from its bottom surface. Replacement sleeve and extension spring are assembled in a tubular member to form a second recoil reduction assembly. This recoil reduction structure functions in the same manner as the structure illustrated in U.S. Pat. No. 6,732,466.

摘要： A security door lock that is secured by two lag bolts to the vertical wall studs forming a doorway frame. The security door lock is installed directly opposite a doorknob on the door and it has a vertically oriented base plate having at least one vertically oriented groove. A pair of cable tensioning sliders are reciprocally mounted in the vertically oriented groove. A cable has its opposite ends secured to the base plate and the cable passes around the respective cable tensioning sliders. A spring connected between the respective cable tensioning sliders keep them biased away from each other when the cable has not been looped over the doorknob. A cover plate is detachably secured to the base plate and a chamber is formed therebetween into which the cable returns when it is not being used.
