摘要： A multi-provider forms processing system with retry upon failure comprises: a plurality of portable computing devices, a plurality of service providers and a paper-like forms server coupled by a network. The paper-like forms server performs the scheduling, routing, logging, verification and billing for the paper-like processing of compound documents. The paper-like forms server comprises a central schedule, a retry module and a billing module. The multi-provider forms processing system is advantageous because it monitors for failure of transactions, automatically issues a retry or replacement transactions and adjusts the billing for the failed transaction. In particular, the central scheduler tracks and determines when transaction failures occur, and based on these failures revises the billing to users and credits to service providers. The central scheduler also monitors the logs for completion as well as restarts, attempts, failure, reworked and re-performed transaction steps and modifies the bills accordingly.

摘要： The present invention overcomes the deficiencies of the prior art with a system for stroke and image aggregation and analytics. The system is particularly advantageous because it provides a system for distributing page images such as worksheets, examinations or forms to multiple devices. The system allows independent paging and writing on the distributed materials; collection of the strokes added to the distributed pages images; and aggregating and displaying those strokes or summary information in a useful manner. For example, an instructor might receive the current work of the students for a particular examination question and view those strokes in a parallel manner or a combined manner.

摘要： A user affixes one or more action stickers to a collection coversheet to identify, by location on the coversheet, target documents within a previously stored collection of documents. The action stickers also specify actions to be performed on the target documents. The coversheet is scanned and the affixed stickers are located and read. The specified actions are then performed on the target documents. If the specified actions change the organization or architecture of the document collection, an updated version of the collection may be generated and stored, and a new coversheet may be printed. The action stickers may be removable, self-adhesive labels.

The user preference module determines a user preference for displaying the table. The table generator generates a table from the field images based on the user preference.

摘要： A system and method for processing form images including strokes. A controller receives a plurality of form images including a plurality of strokes. A stroke identification module identifies the position of each stroke in each of the form images. A geometry engine generates an overlay of the plurality of form images and identifies a group of overlapping strokes from the overlay. The geometry engine generates a field bounding box encompassing the group of strokes, the field bounding box representing a field in the plurality of form images. The geometry engine crops a field image from each form image based on the size and position of the field bounding box. A label detector analyzes an area around the field image in the form image to determine a label and generates a label image.
