    摘要: Disclosed embodiments may include a device, system and method for providing a low cost device that can measure refractive errors very accurately via attachment to a smart phone. A disclosed device may use ambient light or a light source in simulating the cross cylinder procedure that optometrists use by utilizing the inverse Shack-Hartman technique. Using an optical device, in conjunction with a smart phone, the user first changes the angle of the axis until he/she sees a cross pattern (the vertical and horizontal lines are equally spaced). The user adjusts the display, using motorized controls on the on the optical device, to make the lines come together and overlap, which corresponds to bringing the view into sharp focus, thus determining the appropriate optical prescription for the user.

    摘要: A method for managing the lifecycle of an object, where the lifecycle involves a plurality of states of the object, at least one transition between the plurality of states and at least one role who has authority to execute the at least one transition. At least one of the plurality of states, the at least one transition and the at least one role is mapped to Web Ontology Language (OWL) elements. The role related control information is obtained using the reasoning ability of OWL itself according to the above mapping. Furthermore, the lifecycle is managed according to the above role related control information. Using the principles of the present invention, the access control information of roles can be embedded into the lifecycle description and therefore the lifecycle management can be realized easily.

The computer generates baseline values of expected execution behavior of the transaction based on the first test metrics. The computer collects second test metrics on the transaction hosted within the middleware container, and is executing within a second environment. The computer compares the second test metrics to the baseline values. The computer determines whether the second test metrics satisfy the baseline values. In response to the second test metrics not satisfying the baseline values, the computer identifies the transaction as a candidate for cancellation.

    摘要: Determining a beamforming vector for a multi-antenna transmitter commences by determining an eigen-beamformer vector from the channel matrix and, for a number of iterations commencing with the eigen-beamformer vector, rotating the vector into a reference direction in vector space such that application of the rotated vector would result in peak radiation being directed in said reference direction, sampling a radiation pattern associated with the rotated eigen-beamformer vector with respect to transmission direction, compressing resultant samples to reduce spatial directivity induced by the vector, developing a rotated candidate beamformer on the basis of said compressed samples and returning said rotated candidate beamformer to the orientation of said vector before said rotating and storing said resultant vector as a candidate vector. Then, the candidate vectors are compared for the iterations and one is selected for use which best meets one or more selection criteria.
