摘要: A method of controlling a pneumatic actuator for actuation of a pneumatically actuated device. The actuator comprises a piston and a pneumatic cylinder, the piston is arranged to move axially within the pneumatic cylinder. The piston is moved as a function of a pressure in a pressure chamber of the pneumatic cylinder, and the pressure in the pressure chamber is adjusted by a control unit which controls at least a valve and/or a pressure regulator and/or a pressure generating device. A pilot control component, for the control, is determined as a function of at least a sliding friction force and/or at least a static friction force of the pneumatic actuator.

摘要: A control procedure for an automatic transmission, wherein, via a gear range shifter, a change of the gear range both between the forward travel gear range and the reverse travel gear range and between a fast gear mode and a creeper gear mode can be put into action. A control apparatus selects a transmission gear to be engaged, dependent on data, input by an operator with the aid of a gear range shifter for the manual choice of a driving gear area, whereby the gear range shifter possesses at least a D-shifting position for the selection of a forward travel gear range, an N-position for the selection of an idle running position of the automatic transmission and an R-position for the selection of a reverse travel gear range, and that the automatic transmission can be driven in a fast gear mode as well as in a creeper gear mode.

摘要: The basic warning devices utilized in a vehicle driveline are improved. In particular, should a problem be detected with a clutch or transmission, it is known to actuate a primary warning device. However, the primary warning device itself may be subject to failure. If the primary warning device fails, then an operator of the vehicle may not be provided with an indication of an impending problem in a timely manner. The present invention monitors the operation of each primary warning device, and actuates a secondary warning device should the primary warning device fail. In another portion of this invention, a sensor senses the operation of an automatic clutch for clutch slippage. If clutch slippage occurs, then a warning is sent to the vehicle operator. If the vehicle operator does not take corrective measures, the clutch slippage can continue to occur over time. If the control determines that clutch slippage continues to occur, then the frequency of the warning is increased to provide a more insistent indication to the operator that some corrective measure should be taken.
