摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a granulation method and a granulation apparatus that can reduce the manufacturing costs of pellets. There is provided a granulation method which uses an underwater cutting (UWC) device 107 that cuts a medium to be processed extruded from holes of a die 106 by using cutter blades provided in a circulation box 109 and conveys the cut pellets from the circulation box 109 while cooling the cut pellets by pellet cooling/transport water (PCW). The granulation method includes circulating the PCW and stopping the circulation of the PCW after pushing the cutter blades against the die 106 while rotating the cutter blades, before the start of the granulation; storing a predetermined amount of PCW in the circulation box 109 by discharging the PCW; and heating the PCW, which is stored in the circulation box 109, up to 69° C. or more.

摘要: An automotive door lock assembly comprises a lock/unlock mechanism and an electric actuator which actuates the lock/unlock mechanism. At an initial stage of a door unlocking operation of the electric actuator, a passive lever is shifted from an engaged position where a lock/unlock lever and a sub-lever are engaged to move together to a disengaged position where the engagement between the lock/unlock lever and the sub-lever is canceled. When the passive lever is shifted to the disengaged position, the sub-lever can be quickly shifted to the unlock position by the force of a spring prior to shifting of the lock/unlock lever to the unlock position from the lock position by the electric actuator. With this arrangement, the electric actuator can be made of a relatively low power electric motor, and the lock/unlock mechanism can be quickly shifted to a door unlocking condition upon manipulation of a door handle.

摘要: An electric door closure comprises a rotation lever connected to a first rotation shaft of a latch plate to rotate therewith. An electric door actuator is mounted in a lock proper. An arm member is pivotally connected to the lock proper through a second rotation shaft which is angled relative to the first rotation shaft. The arm member is pivoted by an electric actuator between the arm member being pivoted by an electric actuator between an operative position and an inoperative position. A connecting lever pivotally connects the arm member through a third rotation shaft which extends in parallel with the second rotation shaft. The connecting lever is movable between an engaging position, wherein, when the arm member is pivoted from the inoperative position to the operative position, a press portion is formed on the connecting lever to push an edge of the rotation lever to pivot the latch plate from the half-latched position to the full-latched position and a canceling position wherein the press portion is separated from the rotation lever in a direction perpendicular to a major surface of the rotation lever. The press portion is in abutment with the edge of the rotation lever to suppress the connecting lever from moving toward the engaging position, when the latch plate is in a zone between the open position and just before the half-latch position. An open lever is provided which moves the connecting lever and the locking plate to the respective canceling positions when actuated in a certain direction. A biasing spring is provided for biasing the connecting lever toward the engaging position.

摘要: A submerged motor pump (4) has an auxiliary bearing assembly (19, 20) for supporting a rotatable main shaft (9) when the submerged motor pump is not in an operating condition or operates in a transient condition. The submerged motor pump includes a pump casing (6), at least one impeller (12), a motor (10,11), and a thrust balancing mechanism (15) for balancing thrust forces. The submerged motor pump further includes hydrostatic bearings (16, 17, 18) for supporting the main shaft at axially spaced locations by a pressurized fluid pumped by the submerged motor pump. The auxiliary bearing assembly has tapered support surfaces (FL, FU) for supporting the main shaft at the axially spaced locations.

The device comprises an objective lens holder for holding an objective lens, a sheet coil, and a counterbalance mounted on the opposite side of the objective lens. The sheet coil comprises an insulating sheet on which focusing helical coil patterns and tracking helical coil patterns are juxtaposed. The holder has sheet-holding portions of an arc-shaped cross section. The focusing and tracking coil patterns are formed on the curved surfaces of the sheet-holding portions. Focusing magnets are mounted opposite to the focusing coil patterns. Tracking magnets are mounted opposite to the tracking coil patterns.
