摘要： A sheet cutting apparatus includes: a cutting blade for cutting an edge of a sheet bundle conveyed to a cutting position of the sheet bundle; a cutting blade moving section for moving obliquely the cutting blade with respect to a sheet surface of the sheet bundle; a fixed supporting table for supporting the sheet bundle in a vicinity of the cutting position; a blade receiving member for pressing the sheet bundle and receiving the cutting blade in the vicinity of the cutting position; and a blade receiving member moving section for ascending or descending the blade receiving member. A center position of a load application action of the blade receiving member by the blade receiving member moving section, is set to a position upstream of the sheet cutting position in a conveying direction of the sheet bundle, and in the vicinity of the sheet cutting position.

One of the uncurling sections, which reduces the curl, is selected on the basis of the curling amount and the curling direction that have been detected by the curl detecting section, thereby uncurling the sheet.

摘要： To avoid displacement of the fold formed on a sheet and misalignment between sheets when a fold is formed on a bundle of sheets stacked one on top of another, a sheet folding apparatus, for forming a plurality of folds on the sheet on which an image is formed, includes a first folding section and a second folding section. The first folding section has a first folding roller, a second folding roller in contact with the first roller, and a first folding plate member for inserting the first fold of the sheet between the first and second folding rollers. The second folding section has the second folding roller, a third folding roller in contact with the second folding roller provided downstream from the first folding roller in the sheet feeding direction, and a second folding plate member for inserting the second fold of the sheet between the second and third folding rollers. After the first fold has been formed on the sheet in the first folding section, the second fold of the sheet is formed in the second folding section.
