Abstract: A radio terminal (3) has a function of establishing a second radio connection on a second cell (20) operated by a second radio station (2) while a first radio connection on a first cell (10) operated by a first radio station (1) is established. The first radio station (1) sets up a control bearer for transferring at least a control signal regarding the radio terminal (3) between an upper network (4) and the first radio station (1). Further, the first radio station (1) is configured to trigger setup of a second bearer for transferring user data of the radio terminal (3) between the upper network (4) and the second radio station (2). It is thus for example possible to enable a single radio terminal to simultaneously set up bearers on cells of a plurality of radio stations, in order to achieve carrier aggregation of cells operated by different radio stations.

Abstract: A radio terminal (3) can perform carrier aggregation using a first cell (10) of a first radio station (1) and a second cell (20) of a second radio station (2). The first radio station (1) or the second radio station (2) transmits constraint information to the radio terminal (3). The constraint information contains an information element necessary to specify a reception constraint and/or transmission constraint related to the first cell (10) and/or the second cell (20) when the carrier aggregation is performed. The reception/transmission constraint is a constraint related to downlink signal reception/uplink signal transmission by the radio terminal over one or more subframe periods of the primary cell (10) and the secondary cell (20). It is thus, for example, possible to contribute to reduction in wasteful power consumption in the radio terminal in the carrier aggregation of a plurality of cells served by different radio stations.

Abstract: A radio communication system includes a first base station that manages a first cell (110), a second base station (12) that manages a second cell (120), and a radio terminal (2). The radio terminal (2) supports dual connectivity involving a bearer split in which a first network bearer between the radio terminal (2) and a core network (3) is split over the first base station (11) and the second base station (12). The first base station (11) receives, from the second base station (12), bearer split status information about communication of the first network bearer in the second base station (12), and performs control of an access stratum related to the first network bearer. It is thus possible to contribute, for example, to an improvement in control of an access stratum when dual connectivity involving a bearer split is performed.
