    Abstract: A terminal is disclosed including a processor that increments a beam failure instance counter in a higher layer, based on a beam failure instance indication received from a physical layer; a transmitter that, when the beam failure instance counter is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold, transmits a random access preamble based on a transmission instruction from the higher layer; and a receiver that monitors, within a predetermined response window period, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for a response to the random access preamble based on a predetermined search space setting. In another aspect, a radio communication method for a terminal is also disclosed.

The transmission method for a base station transmitting a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), includes transmitting a first CSI-RS relating to a first antenna port of the base station to a mobile station, forming a second antenna port that is beamformed based on a first CSI feedback received from the mobile station, transmitting a second CSI-RS relating to the second antenna port to the mobile station, and selecting a beam for data transmission to the mobile station, based on a second CSI feedback received from the mobile station.

    Abstract: A method of acquiring Channel State Information (CSI) includes transmitting, from a Transmission and Reception Point (TRP) to a User Equipment (UE), information indicating that both of a Resource setting and a CSI reporting setting are commonly set to activation or deactivation. The Resource setting being set to the activation causes the UE to assume that CSI-Reference Signals (RSs) are to be transmitted from the TRP. The CSI reporting setting being set to the activation triggers the UE to perform CSI reporting. The method further includes receiving, with the UE, the CSI-RSs transmitted in accordance with a predetermined type of time domain behavior when the Resource setting is set to the activation. The method further includes performing, with the UE, the CSI reporting in accordance with the predetermined type of time domain behavior when the CSI reporting setting is set to activation.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes transmitting, from a base station (BS) to a user equipment (UE), a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS). The CSI RS is quasi-orthogonally or non-orthogonally multiplexed on multiple resource elements (REs). The BS transmits multiple CSI-RSs to the UE and the multiple CSI-RSs are multiplexed on a same RE. The method further includes applying, with the BS, different transmission power to the multiple REs, and notifying, with the BS, the UE of transmission power information that indicates values of the applied different transmission power. The method further includes scrambling, with the BS, the multiple REs with a predetermined scrambling sequence and notifying, with the BS, the UE of scrambling sequence information that indicates predetermined scrambling sequence.
