    Abstract: A beam selection method, a base station, and a user equipment are presented. The beam selection method performed by the base station includes: receiving transmission beam group information on the base station and information on receiving capability of a receiving set of a user equipment corresponding to each transmission beam group fed back by the user equipment, where the information on receiving capability of the receiving set is the number of reception beams that the user equipment can simultaneously form in the receiving set; and selecting transmission beams corresponding to the receiving set and used for transmitting information to the user equipment based at least in part on the transmission beam group information and the information on receiving capability of each receiving set.

    Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a user terminal including: a control section that determines the number of at least one of first reference signals for beam failure detection and second. reference signals for new candidate beam identification that can be simultaneously monitored cross a plurality of cells based on a specific capability of the user terminal; and a receiving section that simultaneously monitors at least one of the first reference signals and the second reference signals in one or more cells based on the number of at least one of the first reference signals and the second reference signals that can be simultaneously monitored cross the plurality of cells. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a beam recovery procedure can be appropriately performed even when BFRs in a plurality of cells are supported.

    Abstract: A terminal is disclosed including a processor that starts a timer based on a beam failure instance counter; a receiver that receives a reference signal for identifying a candidate beam; and a transmitter that, if the reference signal has layer 1 reference signal received power (L1-RSRP) exceeding a threshold value before the timer expires, and if there is at least one of contention-free random access (CFRA) resources corresponding to the reference signal, transmits a random access preamble using the at least one of CFRA resources.     Abstract: A hybrid channel quality measurement method is presented. The method includes: performing a first channel measurement according to Channel State Information Reference Signals (CSI-RSs), and transmitting a first channel measurement feedback to a base station according to a first channel measurement result; determining whether to perform a second channel measurement feedback based on Demodulation Reference Signals (DMRSs) after the first channel measurement feedback is performed; and performing a second channel measurement according to the DMRSs when determining to perform the second channel measurement feedback, and transmitting the second channel measurement feedback to the base station according to a second channel measurement result.
