The second base station receives, from the first base station, downlink data forwarding information associated with the DRB configured for the SDT procedure. Based on the downlink data forwarding information, the second base station sends, to the first base station, downlink data of the SDT procedure received from a core network node.

Abstract: A base station central unit receives, from a base station distributed unit, configuration parameters of at least one periodic radio resource for packet transmissions of a wireless device in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state or RRC idle state. The base station central unit sends, to the base station distributed unit, a wireless device context release message comprising an RRC release message and an indication that the base station distributed unit maintains the at least one periodic radio resource after the wireless device transitions to the RRC idle state or the RRC inactive state. The base station central unit receives, via the base station distributed unit, data from the wireless device while the wireless device is in the RRC inactive state or the RRC idle state.

The MME sends, to the wireless device, an attach accept message. The attach accept message is for establishing the PDN connection of the wireless device. The attach accept message indicates that transmission of uplink data via the PDN connection is not allowed until the wireless device receives the indication that transmission of uplink data via the PDN connection is allowed.

The BS-DU transmits, to the wireless device, the RRC release message. Based on the indication to store the RLC bearer configuration, the BS-DU keeps the RLC bearer configuration.
