Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine one or more of a resource allocation associated with uplink channel repetitions or a channel usage indicating whether a downlink reception or another uplink transmission is present in resources in time between the uplink channel repetitions. The UE may transmit, to a network node, phase tracking reference signals (PTRSs) using resources associated with the uplink channel repetitions based at least in part on the determination of the one or more of the resource allocation or the channel usage. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for PUCCH/PUSCH DMRS bundling. A UE may transmit, to a network entity, a first indication of a maximum DMRS bundling duration for maintaining transmit phase coherence for transmitted DMRS. The UE may receive, from the network entity based on the first indication of the maximum DMRS bundling duration, a second indication of at least one of a DMRS bundling activation or a DMRS bundling duration. Based on the at least one of the DMRS bundling activation or the DMRS bundling duration, the UE may transmit at least one UL repetition including bundled DMRS.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for determining tone patterns and associated power levels for transmission of reference signals. A tone pattern (e.g., with each tone pattern occupying a resource element in a resource block) can be determined for a reference signal for use in wireless communications between a receiving device and a transmitting device. A plurality of power levels for the tone pattern can be determined. The plurality of power levels can include a respective power level determined for each resource element associated with the tone pattern. One or more of the tone pattern or the plurality of power levels can be used (e.g., transmitted to the transmitting device) for transmission of the reference signal (e.g., from the transmitting device to the receiving device).

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a client device may determine a feedback associated with a machine learning component based at least in part on applying the machine learning component. Accordingly, the client device may transmit a quantized value based at least in part on the feedback. The quantized value is determined based at least in part on distances between the feedback and a non-uniform set of quantized digits. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses that support coverage enhancement techniques in a random access procedure. In a random access procedure, a UE may attempt to connect to a base station by transmitting a random access request to the base station. The base station may respond to the random access request by transmitting, to the UE, a random access response (RAR). In some aspects, the base station can transmit a channel-state information reference signal (CSI-RS) to facilitate beam-refinement for coverage enhancement during the random access procedure.
