Provided are a method and apparatus for reducing the page load time in a wireless communication system. The method for page loading in a mobile terminal may include: selecting, when a page is visited, a candidate page to be pre-inspected with respect to the page; performing pre-inspection of the candidate page and determining types of objects associated with the candidate page; generating tree information for the candidate page based on a result of the determination; and computing the loading time of the candidate page based on the tree information and determining download priorities of objects that are to be downloaded when the candidate page is visited.
Abstract:
A Short Message Service (SMS) delivery method and apparatus is provided for delivering an SMS message efficiently by selecting a network domain to attach to according to the service provided to a Mobile Station (MS) by the mobile operator network. An SMS delivery method of the present invention includes receiving, at a network node, an Attach/Routing Area Update (RAU) Request message including a parameter indicating an attach/update type and SMS-only service, and transmitting, when SMS in a Serving General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) Support Node (SGSN) is supported at the core network node, to the mobile station an Attach Accept message including a parameter indicating that SMS in SGSN is supported. The SMS delivery method of the present invention is capable of delivering SMS message efficiently in the wireless communication system.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a connection of a mobile device to a web server by an in-device web proxy includes transmitting a connection request to the web server when a web browser running on a first Operating System (OS) makes the connection request for connecting to the web server. The method also includes caching information included in a connection response when the connection response is received from the web server in response to the connection request. The method further includes transmitting the cached information matched to a new connection request to the web browser or the web server, when the web browser running on the first OS or a web browser running on a second OS different from the first OS makes the new connection request for connecting to the web server.

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a 5G or pre-5G communication system to be provided for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond 4G communication systems such as LTE. More specifically, a method for transmitting and receiving signals by a base station of a mobile communication system according to one embodiment of the present specification comprises: a step of determining whether to steer a traffic related to a terminal to a wireless LAN; a step for determining a traffic to be steered to the wireless LAN; a step for transmitting, to the terminal, a first message including information for an uplink transmission of the traffic to be steered; and a step for transmitting, to a gateway, a second message including information for a downlink transmission of the traffic to be steered. According to an embodiment of the present specification, in a network and a terminal using both a cellular and a wireless LAN, presented is a method for transferring, via an access network considering the signal strength between the terminal and each access network, a load condition of each access network, a policy of a provider etc., traffic which are sent and received by the terminal and the network.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for transmitting data to user equipment through not only a current base station cell but also a neighboring base station cell via inter-eNB CA in a wireless communication system. A method for transmitting data though carrier aggregation in the wireless communication system, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: a first base station transreceiving data with a terminal through at least two PDN connections; the first base station transmitting a carrier aggregation request message to a second base station for aggregating carriers, when the first base station determines to carry out inter-eNB carrier aggregation; the first base station receiving a carrier aggregation reply message from the second base station in response to the carrier aggregation request message; the first base station performing an RRC reconfiguration process with the terminal to notify to the terminal of the determination to perform the inter-eNB carrier aggregation; and the first base station transmitting a path change request message to a mobile management entity to correct a data transreceiving path, so that data on at least one PDN connection from among the PDN connections is transreceived through the second base station.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for supporting multiple IMS networks includes an electronic device supporting multiple IMS networks. A modem receives communication services through an access network and multiple IMS networks including first and second IMS networks; and a communication control module includes a processor. The communication control module is configured to attach the electronic device to the access network on the basis of first identification information corresponding to the access network, register the electronic device in the first IMS network via the access network on the basis of second identification information corresponding to the first IMS network, and register the electronic device in the second IMS network via the access network on the basis of third identification information corresponding to the second IMS network.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus determining a policy by a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) is provided. The method of determining a policy by the PCRF includes receiving congestion status information of a network from a base station, transmitting the congestion status information to a content server, receiving a parameter for adjusting traffic transmission characteristics from the content server, and determining a policy related to traffic transmission based on the parameter.
