Abstract: A display device includes pixels divided into blocks, a timing controller to generate image data based on input image data, a data driver to generate a data signal corresponding to the image data and supply the data signal to the pixels, and power supply to supply a power voltage to the pixels. In addition, the display device includes a power controller to calculate a first load value corresponding to the pixels, second load values corresponding to each of the blocks, and first peak grayscale values corresponding to each of the blocks based on the input image data. The power controller generates a power control signal to change a voltage level of the power voltage based on the first load value, the second load values, and the first peak grayscale values.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a display panel driver, and a zone compensating circuit which divides the display panel into a plurality of unit blocks, obtains load values of input image data for the unit blocks, and generates corrected image data by correcting the input image data based on the load values. Each of the load values corresponds to one of the unit blocks. The display panel driver generates a data signal for displaying an image on the display panel based on the corrected image data. When grayscale values included in the input image data are the same, a luminance of the image displayed on the display panel is decreased moving away from a center of a reference block having a largest load value among the unit blocks based on the corrected image data.

Abstract: A display device includes: a pixel unit including pixels connected to data lines and scan lines, and signal output lines, where at least one signal output line of the signal output lines is connected to each of the scan lines through a contact point; a data driver disposed at one side of the pixel unit to drive the data lines; a scan driver disposed at the one side of the pixel unit together with the data driver to drive the scan lines; and a timing controller controlling the data driver and the scan driver. The data driver includes: output buffers outputting data signals to the data lines, respectively; and a slew rate controller adjusting a slew rate of the data signals by controlling a bias value supplied to the output buffers in units of pixel rows based on positions of the pixels and a change in the data signals.

A display device includes a gamma reference voltage generator generating a plurality of gamma reference voltages using a power voltage. A gamma selection signal generator generates a gamma selection signal corresponding to at least one gamma reference voltage among the gamma reference voltages and the power voltage. A gamma data supply unit stores a plurality of gamma data sets and outputs a gamma data set corresponding to the gamma selection signal from among the gamma data sets. A data driver generates a data signal using the gamma data set supplied from the gamma data supply unit and the gamma reference voltages. A display unit includes data lines transmitting the data signal.
