Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate; a gate line disposed on the substrate; a data line intersecting the gate line; a plurality of thin film transistors connected to each of the gate line and the data line; a plurality of pixel electrodes connected to each of the plurality of thin film transistors; first-color, second-color and third-color filters, respectively, overlapping the plurality of pixel electrodes; and a light blocking portion disposed between two adjacent pixel electrodes of the plurality of pixel electrodes, wherein the light blocking portion comprises: a first-color layer comprising a substantially same material as that included in the first-color filter; a third-color layer comprising a substantially same material as that included in the third-color filter; and a fourth-color layer overlapping over the first-color and third-color layers and absorbing a light having a wavelength in a range from 540 nm to 680 nm.

Abstract: A color substrate and a display device including the same. The color substrate includes: a substrate including first and second pixel regions spaced apart from each other, and a light shielding region between the first and second pixel regions; a first color conversion layer over the first pixel region and configured to convert incident light into first color light; a second color conversion layer over the second pixel region and configured to convert the incident light into second color light; and a retroreflective layer over the light shielding region and configured to retroreflect incident light through the first and second color conversion layer.
