A first electronic device is provided. The first electronic device includes a display, a communication circuit, memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to execute an initial setup function for initial setup of the first electronic device, recognize a second electronic device in response to the execution of the initial setup function, request first data from the recognized second electronic device, obtain the first data produced by the second electronic device from the second electronic device, in response to completion of the initial setup function, display a first home screen implemented based on the obtained first data on the display and request second data corresponding to an application stored in the second electronic device from the second electronic device, obtain the second data from the second electronic device, and display a second home screen implemented based on the obtained second data on the display.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication circuit, a memory configured to store a partial ledger including a part of a full ledger for a blockchain network or the full ledger, and a processor. The processor is configured to generate a first transaction using a smart contract including shared data of the electronic device and information on an external user to receive the shared data, request to transmit the first transaction to the blockchain network, verify the first transaction using a node creating at least one block corresponding to each of at least one transaction, transmit the first transaction to the blockchain network, create a first block corresponding to the first transaction, verify a second transaction based on receiving a second transaction, execute the smart contract, and to create a second block corresponding to the second transaction.

Various embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and an electronic device for displaying a graphical object for fingerprint input, comprising: a display including a touch panel; a fingerprint sensor formed on at least a part of an area of the display; and a processor, wherein the processor displays a graphical object in a first area which at least includes the at least a part of an area of the fingerprint sensor via the display; obtains fingerprint input through the fingerprint sensor and position information associated with the fingerprint input through the touch panel; and is configured to display the graphical object in a second area which at least includes the at least a part of an area on the basis of at least the position information, and thus when the electronic device obtains fingerprint information of a user, stores the touch information obtained through the touch panel together with the fingerprint information obtained through the fingerprint sensor, and in fingerprint authentication, preferentially matches the fingerprint information corresponding to the touch information, so that the time required for fingerprint recognition can be shortened and the matching speed can be improved. Various embodiments other than the embodiments disclosed in the disclosure are possible.

Abstract:
A mobile device and a method for offering query recommendations on the basis of a background application are provided. In the method, the mobile device analyzes the background application when a search window is activated. Then the mobile device receives a search query entered in the search window, compares the received search query with information about the analyzed background application, and derives the query recommendations for the received search query, based on a result of the comparing. When a user's input for selecting one of the query recommendations is received, the mobile device displays the selected query recommendation in the search window.

A method and an apparatus for displaying a screen using an eye tracking in a portable terminal are provided.
