    Abstract: An electronic device in an example embodiment includes: a communication circuit configured to transmit and/or receive a signal; a memory configured to store instructions; and at least one processor operatively connected with the communication circuit and the memory. The at least one processor generates a public key regarding a user of the electronic device and a blockchain address; determines an external electronic device to share data; transmits, to the external electronic device through the communication circuit, an invitation message including information regarding the public key and the blockchain address; based on a response message, received from the external electronic device in response to the invitation message, generates a blockchain network including the external electronic device as a node; and stores information regarding the blockchain network in an external server.
