Abstract: A locking device for a connector assembly wherein a completely fitted or locked condition of connectors thereof can be confirmed clearly at a glance by way of an electric circuit. One of the connectors to be fitted with each other by the above locking device is provided with a locking plate for movement between a locking position and a releasing position, a holding element for holding the locking plate at the locking position, and also a means for confirming the connector fitted condition comprising a short-circuiting element and a pair of short-circuiting terminals so as to be connected with each other for assembling electric connection between the short-circuiting terminals.

Abstract: A power shut-off connector has contact terminals 55, 56 coming into sliding contact with a moving pin 43, a mating portion 54 and a retaining member 45 of the moving pin, an urging member 62 and a driving member (solenoid) 42 with respect to the moving pin. One side of a locking member 45 as a retaining member is coupled to the plunger 44 of a solenoid 42 and the other side is pivotally supported with a bracket 46 and besides the locking member is mated with the mating portion. The solenoid 42 is provided with a second plunger 150 symmetrically and by coupling a second locking member 151 to the plunger 150, the plunger may be mated with the second mating portion 65 of the moving pin 43. In place of the locking member 151, the plunger 44 may be pulled by means of a weight and a folded wire. A mating portion 54 is provided at the leading end of the moving pin 43, and the locking member 45 and a bracket are disposed on the projecting side of the moving pin so as to dispose the solenoid on the side of the moving pin. The locking member is provided with a plastic tip 53. A housing portion for housing a coil spring 62 is provided in the moving pin.

Abstract: A screw connector is manufactured with an injection metal mold. The screw connector includes a connector main body and a nut embedded in the connector main body. An axis of the nut extends in a forward and backward direction of the connector main body. The screw connector further includes a first opening located on a front side of the nut for receiving by a bolt of a mating connector and a first columnar space located on a rear side of the nut for receiving a distal end portion of the bolt. The method includes three steps. The first step is setting the metal mold in such a state that the nut is held by a front projection portion and a rear projection portion. This front projection portion projects rearwardly and has a small diameter portion and a portion having larger diameter than said small diameter portion. This rear projection portion projects forwardly so as to be in contact with a rear end face of said nut. The second step is injecting a melted resin in said metal mold. The third step is separating a resin molded product from said metal mold.

Abstract: A connector fitting construction in which a half-fitted condition is positively prevented when fitting a pair of male and female connectors together, and the fitting operation and a fitting release operation can be effected easily, and a connector housing can be formed into a small size. In this connector fitting construction, the male connector includes a connector housing, and an exclusive-use housing forming a slider receiving portion for receiving a slider therein. Guide grooves for respectively guiding opposite side portions of a body of the slider are formed respectively in opposite side portions of the exclusive-use housing. A lock arm, provided at a central portion of the exclusive-use housing, includes a lock beak having a slanting surface, and a housing lock formed on a lower surface thereof at a front end thereof, and side spaces are provided respectively on opposite sides of the lock arm. The slider has a slider arm provided in the slider body, the slider arm having a pair of abutment projections. The female connector includes a pair of stopper projections, which are formed on a housing, and abut respectively against the abutment projections when the two connectors are fitted together, a slanting projection having a slanting surface, and an engagement groove.

Abstract: The present invention provides an electrical connector used for charging an automobile in which an incomplete connection between a feeding connector half and a receiving connector half is prevented and the work of connecting both connector halves can be easily carried out with a small insertion force. The feeding connector according to the present invention includes a feeding connector half and a receiving connector half, wherein the feeding connector half includes: a case; a connector main body slidably accommodated in a front half portion of the case for accommodating a plurality of terminals; a handle attached to a rear half portion of the case; a slider for causing the connector main body to slide; a member for positioning the feeding connector half with respect to the receiving connector half and for preliminarily locking the feeding connector half to the receiving connector half; a lever means for routing to complete lock the feeding connector half to the receiving connector half, the lever means having an intermediate portion between a working portion and an operating portion, the working portion rotatably attached to the handle and the operating portion projecting out of the case; and a means for locking and unlocking the lever at in its rotated position to completely lock the connector main body of the feeding connector half to a connector main body of the receiving connector half.

Abstract: The present invention is a method of manufacturing a screw connector by an injection metal mold.
