摘要： The apparatus comprising: a mechanism for moving an object; an information acquisition unit acquiring a driving amount information of the mechanism; a sensor for capturing a surface of the object; a processing section for processing a first image data and a second image data acquired by the sensor at different timings; and a control unit for controlling the mechanism, wherein: the processing section performs processings of: (a) cutting out an image pattern of a part of the first image data; (b) limiting a search range in the second image data within which a similar region similar to the image pattern is searched; (c) searching the similar region within the limited search range in the second image data; and (d) obtaining the moving information of the object based on a positional relation between the image pattern in the first image data and the similar region in the second image data.

Between the nozzle rows for these two colors, at least two nozzle rows for other colors are arranged so that the nozzle rows for the two colors have a large inter-nozzle-row distance. The resulting print head is used for printing. If cyan, light cyan, magenta, light magenta, yellow, and black are used as ink colors, the light cyan, black, yellow, and light magenta inks are arranged between the cyan and magenta inks, having a great hue difference.

摘要： The use amount of clear ink is set to minimum the hue difference Δθs−d from each of the colors corresponding to input signal values. The use amount of the clear ink to provide the minimum hue difference Δθs−d is varied depending on the use amount of color ink used for the color corresponding to the input signal value. Then, a color conversion table having output values of the use amount and ink color data corresponding to the use amount is set. The color conversion in such a relationship is performed, whereby the bronzing color is recognized as a color close to the print color. As a result, undesired bronzing is lessened, so that degradation in image quality can be suppressed.

摘要： An ink jet printing apparatus that can inhibit the possible degradation of image quality caused by variation in the conveyance amount of a print medium is provided. The ink jet printing apparatus includes a detection section detecting the conveyance amount of the print medium, and a print head position adjusting section slightly moving a print head in a conveyance direction of the print medium. The print head position adjusting section adjusts the position of the print head in the conveyance direction according to an error in the conveyance amount of the print medium detected by the detection section. Thus, printing can be performed at the head position adjusted with the error in conveyance amount taken into account. Therefore, the possible degradation of the image quality caused by a conveyance variation can be inhibited.
