The present invention relates to a multi-piece solid golf ball comprising a center having at least one layer, an intermediate layer formed on the center, and an outer layer covering the intermediate layer, wherein the center has a JIS-C hardness of 65 to 85, a surface hardness of the center is higher than a central point hardness of the center by not more than 10, a JIS-C hardness of the intermediate layer is lower than the surface hardness of the center by 0 to 10, a JIS-C hardness of the outer layer is higher than the hardness of the intermediate layer by 15 to 40.

    摘要： A multi piece solid golf ball comprising:a core (1),at least one intermediate layer (2) formed on the core (1) anda cover (3) covering the intermediate layer (2) consists essentially of (I) 100 to 10% by weight of a polyurthane thermoplastic elastomer and (ii) o to 90% by weight of an ionomer of ethylene-(meth) acrylic acid copolymer and having a flexural modiolus of 500 to 5,000 Kgf/cm.sup.2, and the cover (3) is formed from an ionomer resin of ethylene-(meth)acrylic copolymer and has a shore D hardness of 50 to 75 and the core (1) has a press deformation of 3.0 to 6.0 mm, the press deformation being obtained by applying an initial load of 10 Kg on the core to measure a deformation of core (Xmm) and then applying a final load of 130 Kg on the core to measure a deformation of core (Ymm), followed by calculating (Y-X)mm, which is the press deformation.

    摘要： An object of the present invention is to improve the abrasion-resistance of a golf ball having a polyurethane cover. Another object of the present invention is to enhance the resilience and the shot feeling thereof.The present invention provides a golf ball having a cover, said cover comprising, as a base resin, a thermoplastic polyurethane containing a polycarbonate polyol as a constitutional component, wherein the polycarbonate polyol has, as a repeating constitutional unit, a repeating unit (A) shown in a following Formula (I), and a repeating unit (B) shown in a following Formula (II) and having a different structure from that of (A), and a molar ratio of (A)/(B) is from 30/70 to 70/30. In Formula (I), R1 is a bivalent residue obtained by removing two hydroxyl groups from a diol having 4 to 6 carbon atoms. In Formula (II), R2 is a bivalent residue obtained by removing two hydroxyl groups from a diol having 4 to 6 carbon atoms.

    摘要： An object of the present invention is to improve abrasion-resistance and spin performance of a golf ball having a polyurethane cover.The golf ball of the present invention is a golf ball having a core and a cover covering the core. The cover contains a layered silicate and a polyurethane resin having a secondary or a tertiary amine structure in a molecular chain thereof. In the present invention, the polyurethane resin used as a resin component constituting the cover has a secondary or tertiary amine structure in a molecular chain. Thus, it has a strong interaction with the layered silicate, and a reinforcing effect of the filler becomes even higher. As a result, abrasion-resistance and spin performance of the resultant cover are improved.
