    摘要: A key device includes a bottom plate, a light guiding membrane switch, and a keycap. The light guiding membrane switch is disposed on the bottom plate and includes a lower membrane layer, an upper membrane layer, a light guiding spacing layer, a reflective layer, and an adhering layer. The upper membrane layer is disposed above the lower membrane layer and farther from the bottom plate than the lower membrane layer. The light guiding spacing layer is disposed between the lower membrane layer and the upper membrane layer and includes opposite upper and lower surfaces. The reflective layer is securely fastened on the upper surface. The adhering layer is adhered between the reflective layer and the upper membrane layer, and a position and a shape of the adhering layer correspond to a position and a shape of the reflective layer.

The keyboard body and the sidewalls can be made of a transparent material; and transparent liquid can be included in the cavity. The mobile terminal keyboard can be convenient for a user and humanized. Light can pass through the transparent liquid in the cavity from one or more directions and generate refraction to form a colorful effect. The liquid in the cavity also can be deformed to generate various color changes on the press of a key.

The key switch arrangement includes a key-top having an optically transparent key-top having a cutout letter part formed thereon, an optically transparent membrane sheet having a contact, an optically transparent plate member arranged under the membrane sheet, and a light source arranged in the membrane sheet. The light source emits light to pass the plate member and the membrane sheet to illuminate the cutout letter part on the key-top.

    摘要: Two transparent conductive panels are separated by a perimeter of elastic adhesive that forms a sealed gap in which transparent insulative fluid is interposed. The fluid has a refraction index close to that of the panels to improve light transmittance through the device. The small width of the gap improves response time and prevents formation of a vacuum in the gap. The panels are connected to a position detection circuit that determines coordinate position of an applied pressure point. Spacers in the gap reduce the chance of accidental large-area contact which would result in an erroneous position command. The elasticity of the adhesive and the small gap width provide better temperature variation tolerance in addition to improved consistency and reliability of operation.

The front panel is manufactured at least in part from a transparent material in which electrical conductors and components are arranged in order to electrically connect the controllable regulation and setting elements from the face of the front panel with the electrical equipment present in the apparatus via a front panel connection. The front panel is constructed so that it can be attached at least in part to a substantially flat indicia-bearing element such as in front of a screen, in front of a display, or over a printed base or the like.

    摘要: Fine particles, of predetermined composition and sized to be within a predetermined size range, are deposited on, and thereafter adhere in random distribution to, one of two adjacent surfaces, serving to keep the surfaces uniformly spaced apart except when an external force causes them to make local contact. The particles are conveniently applied in the form of a spray of a suspension of particles and a fluid carrier material, preferably water with alumina particles, or an aqueous solution of a chloride salt of an alkaline earth metal such as calcium, potassium or sodium when small glass beads are used as the particles. Brown alumina particles (approximately 96% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3) in the size range 3-50 microns, so utilized, are found well suited as parallel surface spacers in optically transparent touch sensitive overlay (TSO) panels. Particle distribution densities in the range 300-1,000 particles per inch are satisfactory for TSO panels, with the higher particle density requiring a higher actuation pressure to be applied.

    摘要: A custom prototype membrane switch panel, kit, and method for construction. Two membranes, an insulative spacer for use therebetween, and a plurality of conductive elements disposable between each membrane and spacer are provided. Spacer apertures in registry with the elements permit electrical contact therebetween upon displacement of one membrane toward the other. The elements are comprised of conductive ink bonded to an insulated backing in any desired geometric shape or shapes, and may be provided individually or plurally in sheet form separable therefrom for disposition between the spacer and membranes. Elements of different colors facilitate tracing different conductive paths created thereby in the resultant switch panel, and the backing automatically electrically insulates crossovers between the elements. One or more of the membranes or spacer has features, alone or in combination, of transparency, having a graphic grid network superimposed thereon, or being hingable to one or more remaining membrane or spacer, facilitating aforementioned registration.
