摘要： In a PPP terminating equipment connected with a switch fabric and terminating PPP link, the PPP terminating equipment has an LCP echo requirement detecting section detecting whether or not a received packet is the LCP echo requirement packet, and an LCP echo response producing section producing a response packet to the LCP echo requirement by rewriting the LCP header of the received LCP echo requirement packet. The PPP terminating equipment thereby produces and returns the response packet to the LCP echo requirement.

摘要： A method, an apparatus, and an integrated system using the apparatus for measuring a concentration of odorant in odorized gas which is produced by adding the odorant to un-odorized gas comprised mainly of hydrocarbon gas. In a detection absorbance measuring step, there is obtaining detection odorized gas absorbance which is absorbance of the odorized gas relative to a detecting ultraviolet light having high absorbability to the odorant and low absorbability to the un-odorized gas. In a subsequent concentration deriving step, the odorant concentration in the odorized gas is derived from the detection odorized gas absorbance.

摘要： A gas visualizing apparatus includes an image sensor for detecting infrared light radiated or reflected from a background of a gas leak monitoring territory A, a laser source for emitting a detection infrared beam in two-dimensional form toward the gas leak monitoring territory A, the detection infrared beam having a wavelength absorbable by a gas "g" to be detected and a CRT for displaying information relating to gas leakage as a two-dimensional visible image corresponding to the gas leak monitoring territory A. The laser source includes a beam expander for converging or diverging the detection infrared beam to vary an area of the gas leak monitoring territory A. The image sensor includes a transmission and width varying device for setting the infrared light entering the image sensor to a band substantially centering on the wavelength of the detection infrared beam, and varying a width of the band, to realize an excellent visible image.
