Abstract: My weight transferring tow dolly is releasably attachable to a receiver hitch of a towing vehicle such as a pickup truck and generally provides a dolly frame formed of plural structurally interconnected box beams having a height adjustable suspension carrying an axle with wheels and tires at opposing end portions, and a support frame to partially support the weight of a carried load and to move the center of gravity of a loaded towing vehicle forwardly to increase the stability of the towing vehicle.

Abstract: A lightweight trailer suitable for towing behind a motorcycle is convertible to a trailer operative to transport the motorcycle behind another towing vehicle. An axle slider employs a parallel linkage to easily adjust trailer axle width. The design also shifts the center of gravity of the trailer to provide a balanced load as a motorcycle cargo trailer and as a motorcycle-hauling trailer. To attain the additional length and trailer hitch height necessary for hauling the motorcycle, a frame extension and an offset tongue extension are provided. This offset tongue also provides attachment points for conventional motorcycle tie-down straps. A loading ramp is provided to allow for easy loading of the motorcycle.

Abstract: The invention disclosed herein is a new steering control mechanism attached to a truck frame extension which permits trucks towing goose neck trailers to have more maneuverability while towing the trailer. Specifically, a steering control plate rests between two metal stops located on a tie rod connecting the two wheels of the truck frame extension. When the operator of the truck signals a turn the steering control plate is lifted off of the tie rod to a level above the metal stops which permits the tie rod to move in connection with the movement of the towing truck. After the truck completes the turn the steering control plate returns to rest on the tie rod between the two metal blocks locking the tie rod in place. This arrangement permits the trailer to faithfully follow the truck in straight line traffic. The invention disclosed herein permits the goose neck trailer to make sharper turns without putting stress on the tires and frame of the truck or trailer.

Abstract: A trailer hitch assembly is used with a trailer having a plurality of wheels each rotatable about a horizontal axis and a vertical axis. The hitch assembly includes coupling elements on the trailer for fixedly engaging the trailer to a towing vehicle in a horizontal plane parallel to the ground surface during a rearward motion of the vehicle and the trailer and for pivotably linking the trailer to the vehicle in the horizontal plane during a forward motion of the vehicle and the trailer. Abstract: A main frame is provided including front and rear end portions and the front end portion includes a pair of laterally spaced apart hitch structures for releasable hitching to a pair of complementary hitch portions carried by the rear of an associated towing vehicle. The rear end portion of the frame includes a pair of laterally spaced apart dependingly supported caster wheel assemblies which are each mounted from the frame for full 360.degree. angular displacement relative to the frame about an upstanding axis. Connecting structure interconnects the caster wheel assemblies together for equal and simultaneous angular displacement relative to the frame and friction brake structure is operatively connected between the frame and at least one of the caster wheel assemblies frictionally resisting angular displacement thereof relative to the frame. The friction brake structure is adjustable and the laterally spaced apart hitch structures are carried by a pair of opposite side forwardly projecting tongue portions each pivotally supported from the main frame of the trailer for limited angular displacement about a horizontal transverse axis. Further, spring structure is operatively connected between the frame and each tongue portion yieldingly biasing the forward end thereof downwardly toward its lower limit position relative to the frame.
