    摘要: A device for regulating the speed at which a weaving machine having a dancer is supplied with warp threads from a warp beam such that the speed and tension of the warp threads are substantially constant. The warp beam is provided with a variable speed drive having an alternatingly operable coupling and brake controlled by a regulator which compares the actual speed of the drive with a reference value. The actual speed is generated by an optical tachometer connected to the drive and the reference value represents an averaged number of dancer deflections and is generated by an integrator which receives the output of a potentiometer connected to the dancer.

    摘要: A system and method for regulating the cloth fell position in a loom. The desired lengths of cloth and warp thread are determined by averaging the actual values over a given number of weft insertions. The actual lengths of the cloth and warp thread are then continuously measured and compared with the desired values during weaving to compute warp and cloth offset values. A correction factor is determined based on the offset values and the moduli of elasticity of the warp thread and cloth. The cloth fell position is then corrected by adjusting either the actual length of the cloth or the warp thread based on the correction factor.

    摘要: The position of the fell of a cloth being woven on a weaving machine is sensed with a sensor needle that can be moved into and out of the cloth at a location proximate the fell during interruption of the weaving operation. Upon insertion of the sensor needle into the cloth, it moves with the cloth and therewith measures cloth displacement while the weaving machine is at rest. The sensor needle is attached to an actuation device capable of reciprocating the needle into and out of the cloth. The sensor needle is inductively coupled to a distance sensor which measures the needle displacement and therewith the displacement of the fell. In this manner, fell displacements caused, for example, by such factors as the relaxation of the run of cloth or of the warp yarn while the weaving machine is at rest can be measured and, before weaving is restarted, the position of the cloth, and therewith of the fell, can be corrected.

    摘要: A regulation device for the rotary drive of a warp beam of a weaving machine for producing as uniform as possible a tension force on an unwinding material or group of warp threads conducted to a weaving device and then to a fabric take-up device. A tachometer is associated with a power regulator arranged ahead of the motor of the rotary drive as a momentary value transducer and comprises a generator for generating a signal corresponding to the tension force or tensile stress in the material or warp threads as well as a further generator for generating a signal corresponding to the take-up speed of the fabric being woven from the unwinding material or threads. These two signals are connected to a multiplier stage whose output signal is conducted to the power regulator of the rotary drive as a reference value. This feedback regulation of the rotary drive of the warp beam in dependence of the momentary tension force or in the unwinding material or threads and of the momentary take-up speed of the woven fabric by, multiplying the corresponding potential values of the signals for generating the corresponding reference value signals for the rotary drive, renders it possible to achieve a high constancy of the tension force on the unwinding material or threads even under non-uniform conditions in the further processing of the fabric.

    摘要: The weaving machine includes an electronic control device which can receive a signal for a reverse-motion of the pile warp let-off drive motor from the card dobby via a sensor when borders (plain woven regions) of the fabric are to be produced within the terrycloth material. When the drive motor briefly runs backward, the tension in the pile warp increases, which causes the plate warp tensioning beam to be shifted into the plain weaving position in which a pivoting lever rides up onto a leaf spring. The latter is shifted into the plain weaving position which causes the increased pile warp tension to be produced. If a terrycloth weaving operation is to be returned to, then the drive motor receives an appropriate signal from the card dobby for a brief fast forward motion of the pile warp beam, which causes a lower pile warp tension to be produced again while the pile warp tensioning beam pivots back into the normal position. In this manner particularly regular, loopless borders having sharp or defined edges can be obtained within the terrycloth fabric.

In this manner a sensing force arises at the sensing roller which can be increased from a first value to a second value according to the position of the tensioning beam. This permits the realization of increased responsiveness of the control device.
