    Abstract: A pipe connecting device comprises a connecting body including a first tube having a stop jaw at an end thereof and a second tube coupled to the first tube by a fastener and having an opening for insertion of a pipe, wherein a wedge groove is formed in the connecting body and includes rotary corners having a L-shaped cross section and surrounding a circumference of the pipe, rotary wedges each including a rotary part and an extension part, wherein the rotary part is provided in the wedge groove, has a semicircular cross section, and rotates while in tight contact with the rotary corners, and wherein the extension part is formed integrally with the rotary part, has teeth, and contacts the pipe, an elastic member contacting the rotary wedges to transfer a rotational force to the rotary wedges, and a sealing member embedded in the connecting body.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a coupling for rapidly connecting a tube made of rigid material such as metal, of semi-rigid material, such as a plastics material. The coupling presents, at one end adapted to receive the tube, a bore whose diameter is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the tube, said bore being provided with at least one supple sealing means capable of coming into contact with one of the walls of the tube. Between the inlet orifice of the bore and the sealing means, the coupling comprises a housing which receives, for stopping the tube, a retractable member which is locally immobilized therein in the axial direction. The coupling and the seal of its bore are made of the same material, in a single moulding operation.

    Abstract: A pipe header assembly for well point pumping apparatus for use with a series of well point risers forced into the ground and extending above ground where they are connected to pipe header whereby water is pumped out of the ground and conveyed through the pipe header to the pumping apparatus for discharge elsewhere. The assembly includes swing arms connected to the pipe header by an improved slip joint at one end of the swing arms and located between the swing arms and the header and by means of which the swing arms can be inserted in or removed from the pipe header without the necessity of saddles, fittings threaded joints, or other connections.A tool, referred to as a jetting adapter is also provided for quick connection to a plain end of the well point risers, which adapter can be simply slipped over a plain end of the riser where it then automatically locks on the riser. The adapter also has a quick sealing joint with the riser and furthermore has a threaded pipe connection with a supply pipe for furnishing pressure fluid to the riser when sinking the latter. The adapter is used for sinking the well point risers into the ground, and it can be used to pull the riser out of the ground.

In a first coupling configuration, the locking balls have crossed the locking relief of the male element; in a second coupling configuration, the inner ring has reached a position in which it no longer keeps the valve body and the female body coupled by the coupling balls; in a third coupling configuration, the female body keeps the locking balls in their first position; and in a fourth coupling configuration, the valve body has reached a position that allows fluid to pass between the two conduits.     Abstract: A restraint apparatus configured to selectively attach a flexible hose at an outlet structure of a manifold of an air conveyance system is provided. The restraint apparatus includes a restraint member having a flat, planar shape. The restraint member includes a first opening located at a first end and a second opening located at a second end opposite the first end. The first and second ends of the restraint member are configured to be biased toward each other such that the first opening is operable to receive the outlet port therethrough and the second opening is operable to receive the hose therethrough. Upon release of the first and second ends of the restraint member, the first and second ends are operable to exert a bias force against the outlet structure and the hose, respectively, in a manner that resists removal of the hose from the outlet structure.
